Ashlyn and her husband created Fridge Coasters in late 2011 as a solution to a problem in their own fridge as well as most throughout America; drips, spills and refrigerator build up! They also have 3 small kids and their fridge was getting messy FAST! Fridge Coasters are different from other refrigerator liners on the market as they absorb the moisture, drips and spills that inevitably happen in the fridge.
The unique material then pulls at the moisture, acting as a dehydrator, and allowing the drip or spill to dry completely. This leaves you with a clean bin or shelf, no mess to scrub. The best part? They make your fridge look so darn cute!
In addition to the function and fun colors/prints they provide to the inside of the refrigerator, they are also very proud to say that their product is green AND made in America. The coasters are made out of wood pulp using 40% post-consumer product and printed with vegetable based ink. After its life in the fridge, the Fridge Coaster is recyclable, biodegradable and compostable.
Today two of you lucky iHeart Organizing readers will have the opportunity to create a pretty party behind your fridge doors as well. Fridge Coasters are here today to giveaway two generous gift certificates of $50 each!

Omg I love this! I hate the gross gunk that builds up at the bottom of a fridge! How long does an average Fridge Coaster last?

Hi Erin! Fridge Coaster recommends changing them out each time you change your fridge water filter. They can be cleaned with a damp sponge in-between replacements. You can find even more FAQ's on their site here as well: http://fridgecoaster.com/faq/

Is this competition only available to US residents, or can people who live O'seas apply as well?
ReplyDeleteYou answered my question, I was wondering if they can be cleaned. It's great that they are using a renewable product and made in the USA makes it even more appealing! They are reasonably priced as well.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried these...I'm not sure why, but that needs to change!
ReplyDeleteI have tried making some of my own, but these sound wonderful! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteOoh I could totally use these. I hate cleaning the shelves of my fridge! Yuck. And it's great these are made in USA. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the fridge coaster idea.. going to have to check this out and tuck it away. I'm always working on my "Top 5" Christmas organizing gift list:)
ReplyDeleteI♥it! Omg I´d like to win...

Oh my goodness, I am so much in love with these coasters. I really hope to win these beauties. Thanks a lot Jen. xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo for those of you who use these... Do you have any issues with the bottom levels being really dark? My fridge only has a light at the top and with a coaster on every level I've always wondered about them blocking all my needed light. Thoughts? Opinions?
ReplyDeleteMy fridge seriously needs a makeover. It's an old hand-me-down. I am very grateful for it, but a coat of paint on the outside and these gorgeous fridge coasters would do wonders for my kitchen :) It would definitely make me feel a whole lot better! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any of these but have seen them on many blogs. Hope I'm one of the lucky ones to win them!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love and need this! Cute and useful!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea and gorgeous designs
