I have been wanting to get my blog project gallery updated for a few years now so that we can all celebrate easier iHeart project searching. Until then, one thing that has helped me tremendously up to this point is rounding up our favorite projects and posts within a single "Year at a Glance" post each year. You can also check out 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2010.
I always have so much fun pulling these posts together. It usually takes me a few days to get the entire post completed because I fall down memory lane and read, read and read some more. The best part is that these posts really tend to ignite a fire and get my organizing and projecting rear in gear! Enjoy!
Now this is where I would usually spill my guts about my blog goals for 2015, but this year feels so different for some reason. I think my goal this year is to just be content. I am so thankful for what I do and how things have evolved over the years. So in 2015 I plan to remain grateful, find balance and peace between all I love, find beauty in everyday moments, and blog my little heart out. I hope to share both quick tips and bigger projects. I pray that my passion remains strong. And I resolute to take new risks that push my comfort zones in all areas of my business.
As always, a huge iHeart hug to all of you faithful and fabulous readers! You rock my world! Cheers to an amazing 2015!
What a fabulous year! It's great reading along one project at a time with you.
ReplyDeleteSo many awesome and inspiring projects! It must be great to look back and see how much you have accomplished in a year!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Jen. So inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking back to the Review-Posts from the past.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that amazing what kind of transformation both your house and your blog and photography skills have undergone :)
Keep up the good work.
I love this! I went through and filled my Reading List up with posts I want to read again!

ReplyDeleteHello! Although Ashley did contribute for me in 2014, I am unable to speak on her behalf in regards to her personal blog. I do miss her posts, and hope she is doing well. :) xo!
DeleteI have been following your blog since March. I must say you are very talented with everything you do. Your posts are truly inspiring to me... for me to get my house a little more organized!!!
ReplyDeletePs... I secretly want to be your best friend... lol
Happy new year! I've been following your blog (and reading waaayy back into your archive) for about 8 months now and really enjoy your writing style and most of all your creativity! My hubby and I bought our first home a few months ago and your posts have been really inspiring for our own organization needs. In fact, I got so hooked on your decor/organization blog, and others as well, that I was inspired to create my own. It's such a great way to share experiences and ideas with others!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for such great reads! (I found myself really digging into the blogging tips ones lately :) ) All the best in 2015, and can't wait to see that new kitchen of yours when it's done!
-Anita
Thank you Anita! Congrats on your new home and happy blogging in 2015!
DeleteThanks for this post!! I love everything you do!! My favorite was the storage room redo in November, love the labels on the bins. Would you mind sharing where you got the colorful background from?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Tuere
Thank you Tuere! I designed the background on my own. xo!
DeleteSo many great projects Jen! I wish you many blessings in 2015!! Your bedroom was one of my faves along with that lamp DIY :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteJennifer, I really like the DIY wood drawer dividers (April) but would like to know what the measurements were of each of the nine "cubbies". i.e. how much room do belts, bras, scarves, a pair of socks etc. need? Is there a list somewhere of optimal or standard sizes for some of the typical stuff we want to divide in drawer?
ReplyDeleteHello!
DeleteI am sorry I initially missed your question. Our openings are approximately 4 1/2" square. We just went with what would equally divide the drawer while still holding each item. I have never seen an "official" list of sizes that work best, I typically just try test things out as much as I can before completely committing.
xoxo!
Hello, I am 13 years old and I consider myself organized. I love organizing; even in school I am known to have colorful school supplies and other neat supplies such as 8 pocket folders and a mini stapler. I moved into what used to be the guest room, painted the walls mint green and I love the wood floors that have always been in this room. I have sheer white curtains, a white bed spread, and a white fluffy chair from target. My closet I am not as pleased with. I have plastic drawers to hold my t-shirts, shorts, gym clothes, pajamas, and undergarments. My closet is close to empty ( I am very skinny it runs in my dad's side of the family I am 13 and weigh about 88 pounds); it is filled with stuff I either frequently wear or stuff I barely wear among my empty white plastic hangers. I have a box type thing in my closet and on it I put a crate of school supplies, random school papers that need to be shredded, nail stuff, an old laptop and a couple more things I hide in my closet. in the floor of my closet I have shoes ( not to many my foot is still growing) and I have a tall dirty laundry basket all in my closet. I also have a shelf with books but I am constantly given more books from my dad who encourages me to read ( he complains about me watching Disney channel; he is an educational type of person). I just don't like my organization in my room. It is ok, I moved my bed around to change it up. I have limited options of where to put my bed because there are four outlets in my room only one works without the light switch being turned on. I need help with my room can you give me suggestions I know you don't have a teenage daughter but my mother isn't very organized as well as my sister. Also when I was little my mom paid me $5 to organize, now at this point i try to organize but things always go back to being cluttered whether it is in the fridge, in the pantry, or in the kitchen drawers. The most frustrating thing in my house is the room my mom uses as an office which also is used as a laundry room and a pantry and it is not big. My mom refuses to try a new location for her office we have a room connected to the garage she used to scrapbook in there but has stopped for 4 years and uses her past scrapbooking as an excuse to not try that room. An issue for that room is that it gets very hot because that is where the heating is located and all of that jazz. In the current launfficetry we use a hanging line that goes from the laundry side to the pantry office side and pants shirts always are in front of the computer screen. The room is simply dysfunctional. Also the layout we have down stairs is interesting our kitchen is narrow and so is our family room we have another room that has leather sofas in it and a dining room in the nearby area. The unused area that includes the dining room and dust collecting living room are very spacious but they are a waste of space. I just wish we had a more functional layout but reconstructing is out of the option for now. But do you have any suggestions for this explosion of chaos I need help to try to organize this house.
ReplyDeleteHi Maria!
DeleteI love that you read here! Feel free to email me and we can go from there. :)
Happy new year!
Jen
Hello Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next 5 years!
Michelle
hello my room is unorganized to my liking any suggestions I am a teenager in high school
ReplyDeleteCheers to you for a wonderful and more organized 2015! I feel inspired already. My first task of the year, after taking down the holiday decorations, is to organize our closets.
ReplyDeleteI know this is random, but I suddenly felt the urge to comment here and say THANK YOU for this blog. I am always so inspired whenever I visit, and I know you must put a lot of work into this. I love all your projects!!
ReplyDeleteI often dream of having a blog and doing all the projects you do, and of course owning a silhouette! This year was the first time I tried out your planner (junior is just my size) and it's amazing!
ReplyDeleteI used the paper you recommended and adapted a clearance set of Levenger Circa components, it turned out so nice even my husband who thought it was kind of silly was impressed.
I have to tell ya I want everything in Junior size even your freebie pages, but I know that's probably too much hassle.
I bought Martha label holders on clearance at Staples (since they got rid of her stuff), and have tons of Washi thanks to you! I've done small organizing projects thanks to you and made my own drawer organizers from cereal boxes like you!
ok I'll stop gushing...just know that the last year and half have been really rough and your blog has been a bright spot!
Thank you so much! I would love to start adding more half sized pages - I am a fan of them also! And thank you for stopping by the blog. Your kind words mean so much to me!
DeleteI'm sorry I've been around for quite a while, I'm just not the most frequent commenter. I've contacted you a couple of times with questions here and there. On Etsy I'm MyMarkRep (it won't let me change my user name :-(
