That is right! I am so hooked on navy, that I brought it into our main living spaces!
As you may remember, we recently painted our living room to bring more flow to our upper level. I know it was a shock to many, but we have been so impressed with the difference the gallon of paint made. Wall to wall space for our kitchen, dining room and living room is about 24 feet wide. By painting the rooms the same light color, it felt like our space doubled! Although, after the painting update there was one thing that made it all feel a little lack-luster to me....
The creamy curtains seemed to just disappear into the windows and no longer supported the wall color. With the green walls they offered a neutral balance, however, with the grey walls their impact was minimal.
Being a deer in headlights with my studio, I ordered a few fabric samples to bring in some color, pattern and softness to the space. When I received the navy ikat pattern in the mail, I instantly placed it up against the wall in our living room and my gut said, "DO IT!" I wasn't even really looking for fabric {I actually planned to just paint/stencil our previous curtains}, but it was just so right. So I ordered twelve yards of the Premier Prints Raji Slub Premier Navy Fabric. I always get nervous at this point, but I love that fabric.com offers coupon codes, free shipping and the ability to return your fabric if it doesn't work out {not paid to say that, just where I shop for fabric}.
When it arrived, we took a good week to measure, cut and sew up the new panels. The process was pretty simple for a sewing rookie, however, I will say that a huge table and extra hands were helpful at times. Four basic sewn rectangles later and we were able to use drapery ring clips to hang the new panels.
We used our previous curtain rods and hung the panels from ceiling to floor. It makes such a dramatic statement and also gives the appearance of taller ceilings.
We also opted to do the same panels in both the living room and adjoining dining space to unify the feeling and flow between the two areas.
The updated panels brought in SO much warmth! I can't get over the dramatic impact that the single change made to both spaces.
My favorite view...
The navy seemed to work well with the tealy blues and other accent colors we already had within the two spaces. And although I was initially more giddy for the curtains to make a statement within the so-light-so-much-white living room, I was a little surprised at how much I loved them in the dining room as well.
And because no post is complete without a before and after, not only does paint make a statement, but apparently curtains do as well!
This morning when I walked up the stairs and entered the living room, my heart literally fluttered. The room impacts my mood and I am giddy about how it is evolving!
The overall goal for the space was to only make a few minor changes to get a big impact. We started with a gallon of paint, now added the curtains and the final stage is to address the white built-in with the addition of doors and a rustic wooden top. Can't wait to see how that warms things up even more!
Navy is my current color crush, what is yours? What one change have you recently made to a space that completely changed the entire feeling?
Love the grey!! Do you mind telling me the color?
ReplyDeleteThank you! It is Glidden's Smooth Stone. :)
Deletexo!
I love those curtains. Great choice! I need to try out making my own curtains, but I am such a chicken.
ReplyDeleteMine is navy, too... which is weird, because up until recently I never cared for navy at all. I am slowly incorporating navy, turquoise and green into my own home and I love the change.
ReplyDeleteYour living room looks totally different. So warm and tranquil... but elegant as well. Love the change.
This looks fabulous! Our kitchen has a similar color scheme - white cabs, with navy rugs & curtains and teal accents! Love it and so easy to switch out the teal for a different accent color once the itch to switch it up appears.
ReplyDeleteIf I may make a suggestion, we just swapped out our switch plates to this line:
http://www.amazon.com/Brainerd-126334-Architectural-Double-Switch/dp/B00368CH4U/ref=pd_sim_hi_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1S6X158CJVHARPCD78TZ
My hubby was able to swap out the actual switches for white instead of that builder dirty off white, and swap out the switch plates, so easy and super cheap! He was all about it and convinced me and now it makes such a difference we are slowly changing the switch plates and outlets room by room in the entire house :-).
Just wanted to share my happiness each time I switch a light on or off! Your updates really do look awesome, such an inspiration!
~Megan
Thanks for the suggestion Megan! We are hoping to swap ours our when we start working on the kitchen, so it is nice to know how easy it is. And I love the ones you recommended, I will have to save them to my wish list. :)
Deletexoxo!
I can't WAIT to see what you have planned for the kitchen redo!
DeleteI love it!! Those curtains are gorgeous! We painted our home office navy and absolutely love it! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Your gallery wall caught my eye as I'm thinking of doing something like that in my family room. Have you done a post on that project? I can't decide if I should buy the frames first or print the photos first?
ReplyDeleteI never did post about it as we did it way before I started blogging. :) I purchased the frames first {found them at IKEA} and then ordered the prints once I was sure of the insert size. We are hoping to get our gallery wall in our hall done soon, and because all of the frames are different shapes and sizes, we are just going to hang them empty first and then start filling them with photos and prints.
Deletexoxo!
Not sure if his post is still active but wondering what size the IKEA frames are. Love the look but they do not look like a normal frame size. Want to get some myself!
DeleteIKEA no longer sells the frame that we used, however, they are very similar to these: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30174777/

Love the navy accents.
ReplyDeleteIt is always a classic color.
I am so hooked on Navy as well.
I am a knitter and I gravitate towards the navy colors. Though I am trying to bring in other colors right now too.
I just bought two sets of bedding for the two bedrooms in my home. Chaps and they came in either the navy or a deep red. I wanted the navy--that was not available. Got the red and I must say with navy accents it looks great.
I LOVE the new living room color! And I'm hooked on navy too :)
ReplyDeletesweetsandcelebrations.com
I just love Jen, how you've "shown" us, how not to fear mixing of ALL colors!!! I LOVE the variety, the ecclectic aspect, but yet the cohesiveness that still flows.
ReplyDeleteThose curtains are, finally, my motivation & inspiration to take the leap, & update my very "traditional" decor.....which I loathe....
Thanks Nicole! I started out with some very traditional pieces and colors as well, a little paint goes a very long way. :) Have fun!!
DeleteLOVE! Navy has always been a go-to clothing color for me. Genius to use it in decorating--why didn't I think of that?
ReplyDeleteSo funny! I always think the same thing about how I love to decorate with color and then my clothing is always so neutral {although, I do have quite a few navy items}.
Deletexo!
I still can't believe how beautiful that wall color came out! You are so lucky you get tons of natural light in your living room. My living room windows face my back yard so I hardly get any light. Sigh. Anyway, I love what you doing with it ^_^
ReplyDeleteLooks great. I love the navy!
ReplyDeleteI like it! I love the gray walls, but the blue pannels now seem to bring everything together :)
ReplyDeleteI love the change it mad ein the room? My recent color crush is weathered turquoise. We have a lot of wood in our home and they complement each other nicely. I was wondering where you got the new prints in the dining room. I like them a lot.
ReplyDeleteThe weathered turquoise sounds beautiful!! Here is the source for the prints: http://ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/art/10234046/

Love navy and white. A classic and gorgeous combination!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that fabric! The curtains look great in both the living and dining rooms. I have been obsessed with navy too and have been adding it everywhere in my house. It's such a timeless color and looks great with gold accents.
ReplyDeleteYes! I lovity love it paired with gold. So classic and pretty! :)
DeleteI love the living space! So bright and just the right amount of colour- definitely a good inspiration.
ReplyDeleteAll extremely beautiful, functional and organized. The new curtains are the right frame that enhances the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteDo you always follow with great pleasure!
Greetings from Rome!
Emanuela
What an impact!!! I love the addition of navy to the space!
ReplyDeleteI love how you re-painted, but you are right the cream curtains no longer worked so adding the navy definitely does it! I really love navy (to wear also!) I'm now looking at our very plain curtains and thinking we need a change... and clever you, sewing your own panels, I'm very impressed :-)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely ADORE the curtains! I literally gasped at my computer screen when I saw them (and then had to play it off to coworkers... "There was a fly. It scared me." ;) ). They add such fun personality and sophistication all at the same time. And I want your photography skills. Seriously. :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha, those pesky flies! ;) I am a screen gasper too, and a smile while I type kind of gal as well. So funny!
DeleteLove them! Good choice. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are perfect! I have to admit I thought I was going to miss the green but these curtains make me love it even more lol. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteThose look stunning! I am so in love with Navy I am debating painting my office/kids craft room in a Navy.... I'm a little skeered..
ReplyDeleteNavy walls are so dramatic and gorgeous, I have been itching to put them in our guest room. Send me a picture if you finally pull the trigger!
DeleteBeautiful and so fresh!
ReplyDeleteLove those curtains! I have a similar pattern but it's in black and white. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it!! Where did you get the living room rug?
ReplyDeleteThanks Ann! The rug is from rugsusa.com and it is currently 55% off right now! :) http://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-moroccan-shag/natural/200HJMRC1A-8010.html
Deletexoxo!
Do you get a pad under your rugs??
DeleteI have been thinking about doing navy curtains for my living room...this post just confirmed that decision!! Thanks!! :)
ReplyDeleteI miss the green :((
ReplyDeleteMe too!!
DeleteI did too, but now these navy curtains are winning me over towards the gray side! I love this combo!!
DeleteOoooooh they're lovely, well done you! I'm very drawn to navy at the moment too, particularly all those trellis wallpapers you have stateside. It's making me happy looking at your curtains too. X
ReplyDeleteI see you also changed your side table! XO!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! I brought in navy a few years ago and it's definitely growing in my house since. I love your curtains paired with your teal cabinet. This may just be the inspiration I need to paint my front two rooms (living and dining) gray to go with my navy. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh girl...my heart just skipped a few beats! I heart your curtains and of course the whole room! I'm changing up things in my home this spring and you just inspire me so much! Can't wait to see the fabric you picked out for your studio. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait either Stephanie ;) Still haven't been able to figure that space out so I am just taking a breather from it.
Deletexo!
Love the wall colour & the navy curtains, really open up the rooms. BTW I see you returned your old rug, I prefer this one, softer appearance and matches the ikat.
ReplyDeleteYes, we ended up returning the other rug. As beautiful as it was, it just was not going to hold up to the traffic of three boys, two dogs and my love for vacuuming. :D And I agree, this one fits the space better and is far more cozy. xoxo!
DeleteLOVE it! Those awesome lemon/basil prints in your dining room are really fun. Source?
ReplyDeleteHi Kate!
DeleteThey are from ikea: http://ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/art/10234046/
xoxo!
Love, love, love! Navy with aqua or teal has always been one of my favorite color combos! Looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!! I'm loving your new living room look! So much fresher and more sophisticated. Those curtains are perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love the new curtains Jennifer, they look great in both spaces!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely the combination of turquoise with navy. What a happy pairing!
ReplyDeleteLoving both spaces!!!! I have been dying to paint my hutch a nice blue, but have been dragging my feet on in. This picture has made me want to grab some paint tomorrow and go to town!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and am continually inspired by all that you do! You have given me the push to get going on my own home and to start a blog to document all of the labors of love. Thank you and keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteThat navy is most definitely doing IT in those spaces! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteIn. Credible.!. If you ever run out of awesomeness to blog about, we'll just trade houses and you can start from square one at mine. I'm in the South, so no snow boots needed where I live... four seasons and 2300 square feet of endless possibilities. ;) Or at least come visit for the summer! ;). Reading blogs for years, you are by far the best! 3 sweet babies have put ours on permanent "hold". I keep waiting on you to giveaway a home makeover... decorate and organize!!! Oooooo. I say you pitch that to HGTV! I say you come do my house since it was my bright idea. ;). Ok. I'll get my head out of the clouds now. But seriously. Awesome job! Beautifully executed, as always! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Carrie! Finding a way to get into the homes of others to help purge, organize, simplify and beautify is definitely on my wish list some day! Sounds like you will be first in line ;) I sincerely appreciate your sweetness!
DeleteGotta say . . . not my fav at all.
ReplyDeleteLuv navy and white with accents of gold. I'm currently crushing on black and white stripes with accents of pink and gold.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the grey & navy color combo. Kinda what I have in mind for our next master bedroom. Easy to add pops of color too!
ReplyDeleteNavy is my go to favorite color! So classic and easy to pair with green, coral, red, orange, white, etc and still get a classy look. Getting ready to do our boys bathroom in navy and green! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI am loving navy right now too! Those curtains look perfect! =)
ReplyDeleteAs always I LOVE these. Absolutely gorgeous. I love navy so much it's the color I chose for my minivan. #swag #noshame
ReplyDeleteI bet it is the most stylish mini van around! ;)
DeleteOmg, this is amazing! My first thought was now switch out the clear lamps for navy! But, then read on about your plan for the wood topper and now I can't wait to see more progress! This room says style, airy, comfort & cozy all in one. Although I did like the former green living room, I admit I love this look much better...looks more "grown-up" as we say, but still fun with color and relaxing with the soft blending throughout. Love!
ReplyDeleteI love your space. I'm a bit envy
ReplyDeleteomgomgomgilovethem
ReplyDeletethankyouthankyouthankyou :D
DeleteLove those curtains … they are just stunning and they work so well with everything else!
ReplyDeletewow! Those curtains look amaxing and they just fit the space so... perfectly! You did such a great job, it really makes the space look so much better!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteThis really doesn´t have much to do with the post, although I think the new curtains made such a big difference in the room!
I just wanted to let you know that I can´t find your blogroll anymore. It used to be located right beneath your favourite posts... Is it just me or is it gone??
Hi Helena!
DeleteI am on a quest to declutter the blog and fix some things that haven't been updated in awhile {project gallery, house tour, etc...}. I realized that not only did the blogroll take up a huge chunk of sidebar, but that I rarely updated it any longer based on my current reading inspiration. You can still find all of the blogs iheart here: https://www.bloglovin.com/iheartorganizing/following
xoxo!
Thank you so much! I relied on your blogroll as my "go to place" for my favourite blogs and had to quickly write a list of them while I remembered them... But now I can use your link! :)
DeleteLove it!! :D
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful! Well done and well told!
ReplyDeleteI love your " new" space!
ReplyDeleteI'm 100% with you with the Navy! Right now I'm so focused on navy, I'm having a hard time deciding what accents to add to our Family Room decor. :)
ReplyDeleteI love navy but I never thought of it as color for curtains. That is just so pretty. And I love how your house look so bright. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWas 12 yards enough for all 4 curtains? What were the measurements of your curtains?
ReplyDeleteI love it! And Navy is showing up everywhere again, and so nice to see a classic coming back around! It really does make a difference and has me rethinking my ho hum curtains...another project! :) And the most important thing?!?! It makes YOU smile! Great job! Rosie
ReplyDeleteJen..."I Heart" the new space soooo much!!! Gorgeous! Brings the rooms together perfectly now. I love navy too but I don't have any in my home yet. lol. Right now I'm crushing on "Watermelon" or "Poppy" color, light or dark. I just bought a white duvet color and a "Poppy" colored sheets, then added some pillows & throw in a lighter Watermelon/Poppy color. LOVE IT!!! Really brighten up our Master Bedroom. We have all dark furniture in there but get really nice light filtering in. Best decision I made...never thought I would buy a white duvet cover though. So worth it. Now I can change that up through the seasons. Can't wait to see what you do to your built-ins. Sounds awesome!!! :)
ReplyDeletegorjussss as always girlfriend!!
ReplyDeleteI've been looking at navy curtains for my light light pink bedroom! I've been lovely blues and navy's as well lately, and I just want to put it every where! Pillows, curtains, clothes, oh my!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the transformation in this space - terrific wall color, gorgeous curtains - LOVE LOVE LOVE. My heart would flutter too walking into this space every morning!
ReplyDeleteI love navy, too. I like to combine it with touches of apple green so I am a little shocked that you painted you entire living room gray, because I really liked your wall color. Your curtains are great, but in my opinion the room has a much cooler feel now. I am planning to paint two walls in our living room navy and hope to find apple green curtains...
ReplyDeleteJule in 9B
I can't even believe how drastic the change is with just paint and drapes!! I'm crazy for the navy, too...and have a serious urge to paint my walls that delicious color!!!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about your updated living space. It is amazing what some paint and new curtains can do to a room!
ReplyDeleteI also LOVE your picture gallery above your sofa! Can you tell me the size frames/pictures you have up? Thanks!
Thank you Dawn!
DeleteThe frames are 23" squares and I found them from IKEA. I thought they stopped selling them, but I found them here: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10156326/#/30109782
And a similar option here: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30174777/

I love navy too. In fact I am about to start an office remodel and couldnt decide between navy and kelly so I am going to use them both!

Can you tell me where you got the navy velvet chair? It's exactly what I've been looking for!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lora,
DeleteHere is the link to the chair: http://www.worldmarket.com/product/pacific+blue+elliott+wingback+chair.do?&from=fn {watch for their 20-25% off furniture sales}.
xo!
Oh my God, I love it!!! wonderful job
ReplyDeleteI want to make my own curtains. Any advice? How much fabric did you buy?
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica! I knew our ceilings were 8ft so I ordered 3 yds per panel {9ft} to allow for me to hem the top and bottom and offer some wiggle room. Worked out perfect! We laid the curtains out on the floor to measure and pin them and used our oversized dining table for sewing them. We sewed the two sides first and then flipped over the top and bottom and sewed them second. Best of luck Jessica!
DeleteI love the pops of colour in your home. it looks simply amazing!!

I love these! I am redoing my living room and have been modeling it after yours but I'm having trouble because I rent and my floors are DARK brown. My couches are a lighter brown and I have NO natural light. Any suggestions on brightening up the room?
ReplyDeleteAre you able to paint your walls Courtney? Are you hoping to add a little color or just keep the neutral? Maybe a soft color or grey and then have fun with playful accessories on the couch and windows? Lighten things up with an area rug as well?
Deletexoxo!
wow! such pizzazz! i thought you redecorated the entire room! looks great! to say the least.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Can you please tell me where you purchased the black and white pillow (ikat like print, the one in front of the turquoise pillow)? I need that for my house!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHello!
DeleteThe pillow is from IKEA: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00281892/
xoxo!
I'm curious...are those flowers in the vase real or fake? Either way they are gorgeous! I love them :)
ReplyDeleteThey are real! Trajder Joe's and Target are my go to for fresh spring flowers. :) xo!
DeleteHi! Your living room is beautiful! Great job! Did you line the back of your drapes?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ann.
We did not, but still could should we ever wish to. I always prefer lined drapes in bedrooms, however, because these are our main living areas it didn't really seem necessary.
Deletexoxo!
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE reading your blog. You give me so many decorating and organizing ideas. As a busy wife and mother of an almost one year old baby boy, I find that trying to keep the place tidy and in order is an ever increasing struggle. But with every blog you post, it continues to keep me determined and motivated! Thank you so much! I am a very committed reader :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is so wonderful to hear! Thank YOU for making my day extra bright!
DeleteLove the new look! Its always nice to refresh things :) If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the antlers? I'm on the hunt for some and I love yours! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I found the antlers at a local shop in the Twin Cities: http://primeandpolish.com/
DeleteI haven't seen anything like them online - maybe check HomeGoods for a similar style?
xoxo!
Oooh so pretty! Love the change-up, Jen! {And as an almost non-sewer, I'm super impressed that you whipped those up yourself! Go girl!} Hope you're having a great week!
ReplyDelete~Abby =)
Hello Jen,
ReplyDeleteI Love Love Love your design style. Its very inspirational. Can you tell me the paint finish for the Glidden Smooth Stone paint you used?
Thank you,
Kathy :)
Hi Kathy!
DeleteThank you! :) The finish is satin in our main living areas.
xo!
Navy is my favorite color. I even painted our front door navy. We are looking for a new color for our entryway and you have provided inspiration with your new wall color. Thank you for such an amazing blog!
ReplyDeleteI finally got hubs on board to redecorate the living room and I think this is the perfect palate! Thanks for the inspiration!

I still can't get over how much brighter it feels with the new paint color! The curtain fabric was the perfect choice!
ReplyDeleteI know I need to try making my own curtains because there are so many more options for fabric and they are so much more affordable. I need to get over my anxiety.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh I am totally in love with your aqua dining room hutch!{swoon!!} I must know the color of it so I can paint everything in it. 😃
ReplyDeleteThank you Tabitha! The color is Sherwin Williams Reflecting Pool. It is a wonderfully happy color! :)
DeleteI LOVE this fabric and am ordering it as soon as I can figure out how much I will need. Can you tell me how to figure this out? I have one double window in the living room that I will need panels for. Thank you. I apologize if you have already addressed this question. I did not see it.
ReplyDeleteOh sorry, I just saw it. You ordered 3 yds per panel but I'm still confused since the fabric is 54" wide. How does that work?
ReplyDeleteHi Karen!
DeleteThe curtain panels started at 9 feet/3 yards long {and were hemmed to fit our ceiling height} and are each 54 inches wide. Our windows are only 75" wide, so the panels easily cover our windows.
Hope that helps! xoxo!
I love your home and all your pictures!!! I especially love the furniture placement. May I ask how big is your dining room area? I'm wanting to redo and I'm thinking of furniture and paint color. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHello!
DeleteOur dining area is approximately 12' x 12'.
xo!
I so want those curtains for my house, I'm dreading the tedious sewing process but there is NOTHING ready made available that is even close! I was curious, the link to the fabric says Navy not Canal blue and I can't find canal blue anywhere. Can you verify the color of fabric you bought? Just so I'm not quite such a copycat I am considering the damask pattern in the same color instead of the ikat LOL
ReplyDeleteSo strange - wonder if they changed the name on their end or if I just copy and pasted the wrong title? I made sure to look at my specific order history and link from the item purchased and it is this one: Premier Prints Raji Slub Premier Navy - https://www.fabric.com/buy/0329814/premier-prints-raji-slub-premier-navy I have also updated the post. Thanks so much! And best of luck with your curtains! I am sure that the damask print will be equally as fantastic! xoxo!
DeleteWhere did you get the little table by your chair? It's perfect for what I need and haven't been cable to find one.
ReplyDeleteHello,
DeleteThe table near the chair in the living room was from Joss & Main, so it may be worth looking on Wayfair.com or checking out HomeGoods, as I often see a lot of the same items repeating from Joss and those home stores.
xoxo!
Love the curtains ! Did you ever do a window treatment in the master bedroom ? A while back you had mentioned it but I have never even seen a window in there. Just wondering what pattern/color you used.
ReplyDeleteRight now we do not have any curtains in our master bedroom, just thick white blinds. I will be sure to share when we do add a little something, but it will most likely be something simple like a roman shade in a subtle pattern. xoxo!
DeleteI noticed to added some accents to your IKEA entry cabinets (not the shoe cabinet, but the long one). What did you use? It looks great!
ReplyDeleteHi Jeni!
DeleteWe added some simple L brackets from Home Depot: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-2-in-Satin-Brass-Flat-Corner-Braces-4-Pack-15071/202034207
As well as new hardware: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Martha-Stewart-Living-Bedford-3-in-Brass-Awning-Cup-Cabinet-Hardware-Pull-136254/202241367
xoxo!
I found this on Pinterest as I was looking for ideas for my new house and I fell in love!! I am wondering where you found your couch - I am looking for something exactly like this!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
did the 12 yards of fabric make curtains for both your living and dining area? :)
ReplyDeleteThat is correct Chrystal, each panel was about three yards of fabric because we went ceiling to floor.
Deletexoxo!
I love your gray sectional, I have been searching for something just like it with no luck. mind telling where it's from?
ReplyDeleteI also love the gray sectional! Where did you get it?
ReplyDeleteHi Hannah & Evin!
DeleteThe sofa is a Rowe from Becker Furniture. You can find all the details in this post here: http://iheartorganizing.blogspot.com/2014/01/our-sofa-story.html

I absolutely love your throw pillows! where did you find those at?
ReplyDeleteHello!
DeleteI find pillow covers at many different sources, however, in this post they were from IKEA, Joss & Main, HomeGoods & Etsy.
xoxo!
I love everything about your space! You're so talented. I'm especially obsessed with your colorful floral pillow. I saw in the comments where you got your pillows. Would you tell me where you got this one? And if you know of any similar looking pillows or fabric? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Lindsay,
DeleteThe pillow is from HomeGoods and is really similar to the fabric print I used for the curtains which is this: https://www.fabric.com/SearchResults2.aspx?Source=Header&SearchText=Raji+slub&CategoryID=1d5f47dc-9991-4088-93f3-26a376046a5e
I have seen other similar prints on fabric.com as well.
xoxo!
I love your spaces, each and every time, and I am so scared and not confident to buy items for my house for fear I wont be able to get the look I want. I have the basics, grey softa, white furniture, but now comes the scary part of injecting colour and pattern through curtains, accessories, pillows and side chairs. Stuff isn't cheap and we have a limited income and so I dont want to regret a purchase. I wish you could come and style my house. I dont know what direction to go in.
ReplyDeleteLove those curtains! I may have to make some for myself someday...I currently have navy in my kitchen, which is open to my living room & I think these curtains would look amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, your house is so cute!!! Where did you get those incredible throw pillows in your living room?
ReplyDeleteI find pillow covers at many different sources, however, in this post they were from IKEA, Joss & Main, HomeGoods & Etsy. xo!
DeleteI love this. So funny that I just found this blog and my living room is quite similar in color. I am trading my turquoise hutch (that had no storage) for a dresser I plan to paint a mustard color.
ReplyDeleteWhat color did you use for your striped wall?
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me where to find the white book shelves in your living room? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel,
