Have you ever heard of Blurb? They specialize in taking your cherished memories and turning them into lovely printed photobooks.
Now, they also offer the ability to create Instagram books! When I found out, I may have squealed and burned 1,738 calories doing the sprinkler dance move over and over and over...
Once I pulled myself together, I went through their site to log into my Instagram account and import all of my photos. It was super simple!
They make it easy peasy to pick your layouts, add/remove pages and move things around until you get them just how you like 'em.
Since I started Instagramming at the beginning of summer, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to put together an "Insta Summer" book. Now I can always look back and remember our summer and all of the big and small events in the order that they took place!
The cover has a variety of customizable options as well; different cover choices and colors!
When I was all done previewing and reviewing my happy little book, it was delivered to my doorstep shortly after.
It is absolutely darling, measuring in at 7"x7", and bringing to life all of my favorite photos within the pages inside.
My favorite part is watching the kids while they look back on their summer fun.
And giggle at the funny memories and photos. Priceless.
Blurb and I want you to be able to enjoy one of these fabulous little books too! So, for 72 hours only, you can get one for F R E E!
Are you doing the sprinkler dance now too!?
Once you can finally settle down, you need to hop on over to the Blurb website, sign up, use the Bookify book making tool to import your Instagram photos, enter INSTAHEART at checkout and a charming little memory book will be all yours!

ReplyDeleteYAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Blurb books--I did old family pictures a couple of years ago and handed out for Christmas-everyone was thrilled!!
ReplyDeleteI just completed my order! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I never heard of Blurb.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm just totally missing it, but I'm on this (http://www.blurb.com/instagram-books) page and can't figure out how to make my book/hook up my Instagram account! It says to click "Make an Instagram Book," but I don't see that anywhere! Am I just overlooking it?? Help! :)
ReplyDeleteYou'll want to go to the Make a Book page. Once there you'll start the process then get to the step of where you want to get your photos from - that's where the instagram option is at. http://www.blurb.com/make
DeleteI had the exact same question! So confusing. Thanks, Samantha!
DeleteI too have been trying to figure it out for about 30 min....thanks!!!
DeleteYes, I was having a hard time finding that, too. Thank you Samantha!
DeleteActually, my question still isn't answered...I was hoping to figure it out. When I click on "Make an Instagram Book", it directs me to a page that then tells me to do what I just did. I downloaded and opened Booksmart, but it's not on there for the small square book, either. Any help?
DeleteNevermind!! I think I figured it out!! :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thank you! But is anyone else not seeing the "Make an Instagram book" button? It keeps taking me to the instagram book page that says to click on that button, but the button is no where to be found.
ReplyDeleteI also can't seem to get it to work. Help?
DeleteHi Sarah!
DeleteYou will need to use one of the Blurb photobook making programs to actually create the book. If you look at their site, go to the "Apps" toolbar and select Bookify Online.
xo!
Jen
There we go...Bookify. I didn't try that. Thank you so so much!
DeleteThank you so much for this awesome giveaway! I just completed my Blurb book in less than 30 minutes!
ReplyDeleteI upgraded to hardcover image wrap, but the $19.95 off the whole price still made it super affordable especially considering the end product.

WOW!!! That's awesome! Yay! I have a couple of questions, and I thought maybe you might be able to answer them (or I will go searching on the Blurb site here in a minute). :) Can you print the captions for the photos also? Do the Instagram borders print? I see that yours look like they do not have borders... but maybe you just keep the borders turned off? Anyway, it looks great! THANK YOU!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny!
DeleteYou can customize the page layouts and decide if you would like to use captions or not. I believe the borders do print, I just don't use them when I Instagram.
xo,
Jen
I LOVE BLURB!!!! i did a 200-page book of last summer's vacation and it turned out great!!! My dad said, "Thats like a book you'd see in the library." Blurb does a wonderful job and they have excellent customer service. Give them a try!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Making a book of our honeymoon photos. :)
ReplyDeleteWe love the blurb! We just ordered a personalized notebook, can't wait to get it and use it! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletelove. thank you!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there is anyway to get photos from FB into Instagram or can you use any photos from FB for the Blurb book? mmmmmm?
ReplyDeleteYou may be able to do both or either. You may need to search their site, they have a lot of tutorials.
Deletexo!
Jen
You can certainly use Facebook photos. Unfortunately I don't have Instagram, so instead I used FB photos since I have had a hard time trying to print them anyways. It worked great! Good luck!
DeleteI am SO excited for this awesome giveaway!!! But... I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get more than 20 pages in my book. I choose more pages, but it automatically switches to 20 when I start making my book... Help!!!
ReplyDeleteVera
That's right. It starts with 20. In your screen you can see at the sides a little icon. I believe it looked like a page with a + in it. Just click that! It's on the left and right side of your pages. Can you see it?
DeleteThis is AWESOME! And how wonderful that you're letting everyone enjoy the giveaway!!! I can't wait to sign up and try it out!
ReplyDeletethank you so much for this! i made a book for my parents who are visiting us from japan in 2 months, my dad haven't met my son for 2 yrs!(i live in the us)
ReplyDeletei first found out about you from pinterest and getting so much motivation and i started organizing my house. i just started working on kids closet n realized forgot to take before pic....:(
anyways, i was telling my husband how great you are and he asked how you find/make time to do all your projects. do you do most of the work or your family get involved? do you do it during week or weekend??we painted our living room, dining room today and it was so hard this time cause we have 7months old now. sorry this wasnt really a comment regard to photo book but wanted to express my thoughts:)
thanks again for all you do!
Thanks Yuki!
DeleteThat's a great question. For the most part, my husband and I use our project time as "our" time. Many projects are done after the kids go to bed {from between 8-11}, or on weekends if they are at Grandma & Grandpa's or playing with friends. Our boys are also a little older, so they can find ways to craft and project with us if we are working on things at home during daytime hours. We also may have times where we pull shifts and take turns projecting while the other spends time with the kids. It is also important to remember that I blog from home and it is job to find projects and fresh content which drives all we do, which isn't the "norm" for many so we have to prioritize things and always have something going on.
Hope that helps! xo!
Jen
It's a touch smaller, but it's less expensive then shutterfly. Love doing the books for a spcial even such as summer vacation. I did two for my daughter for each year on her competition dance team. Had alots of pictures and I could corrall them all in one spot. I could also have things written in there, so I wrote what place she came in at each competition, as well as the name of all the girls on her team. She loves it...me too!
ReplyDeleteI love this!! So neat! Thanks Jen!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this! I was JUST looking for something like this online!

ReplyDeleteThis was such a great giveaway! I just made a photobook as a christmas gift for my bestfriend! I used photos off of instagram, facebook, and even straight off my computer. Definitely a super user friendly site.
ReplyDeleteI love Blurb! I also love that you can create your own layouts in InDesign and upload to be printed. This is how I did wedding albums for my parents! What a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this! I make a Blurb book every year from my family blog and I had one almost completed. Great timing! Thanks for the savings!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! We use Blurb for all our family albums, so this gave me an excuse for a special edition Instagram book. Love it!

ReplyDeleteoh my goodness! this is the BEST giveaway! I'm so excited!! I just ordered mine :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing this!!! I'm going to share a link to your page with all my Instagram and blog buddies. You're awesome! =)
ReplyDeletethank you so much for pairing with blurb and sharing this! i have been wanting to make my 19 month old daughter a family album, for her to especially know some of her aunts, uncles, cousins, etc., who she doesn't see often. i was able to use albums from my facebook page (which are a great sampling of my fav pics, of which there are too many to go through!) and create an album of "family, firsts, and favorites." it has, obviously, pics of her family, from my pregnancy to her arrival, to her great-mothers and her newest cousin, and pics of many of her firsts (crawling, cereal, first holidays, etc.), as well as her doing many of her favorite activities, like going to the park near our house and more. she is at an age where she loves reading and she loves to look at pictures of herself! i love the text i was able to add to the book to make it a truly special album for her where she feels safe, loved and proud of her accomplishments in her 1 1/2 years on earth! mostly i am thankful for the impetus to finally do this album i have been wanting to do for so long, and affordably! THANK YOU!
ReplyDeletethanks so much for sharing this! i just ordered mine today. altho i will say it took me forever just to get to the checkout process... not because i had a hard time figuring out how to use the program but because i kept rearranging, adding and removing the pics! i'm happy with the final product and am looking forward to getting it in the mail. =)
ReplyDeleteThank you! What a treat! Didn't know about Blurb...will definitely make more in the future.
ReplyDeleteSo thankful! This was incredibly easy to use! Probably the most user-friendly book-making software out there. So excited to get my book!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteDid anyone else have trouble uploading photos? I kept getting an error message and could only upload 5 photos. When I contacted their customer service, the coupon code had expired by the time they responded and they offered me 10% off instead. They told me the problem was my browser (I was using Chrome.)
