Thanks everyone and good luck!!
Thanks for keeping me organized!
ReplyDeleteThey look great! would love to try them!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is one of those GENIUS yet simple inventions where you wonder why no-one else thought of it already!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteCan international readers enter?
My favorite filing tip (though I'm far from a good organizer) is, no matter what filing/organizing system you choose, stay on top of it! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteI had no idea something this awesome existed! Would love to win!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently using the FreedomFiler system, but I love the idea of being able to continually reuse the labels with this brand.
ReplyDeleteWell...I don't have a favorite, because I suck, which is why I come to your blog for inspiration. I guess what I usually do, is piles and then get to it later. It works out in the end, but the process is not pretty.
ReplyDeleteThese would be amazing - I NEED to be on top of my paper messes. They are still conquering me! Help!
ReplyDeleteI conquer paper by dealing with it immediately instead of letting it pile up.

ReplyDeleteSo great :D I sort my paper with the help pf document folders and boxes ^^ But it still is a mess. I have so much paper ^^ The life of a snail mail addicted person ^^
ReplyDeleteI love how it erases when you want to change the file name.
ReplyDeleteI really need help w organizing!
ReplyDeleteI really need help w organizing!
ReplyDeleteI have a wooden mail sorter with 3 compartments right by the entrance of my door so as soon as I get inside, I can quickly put bills/action/reference items into their own separate sections. The sorter has a handle so I can easily bring it in to my desk to handle the items over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love this!! We are moving soon, and this would be great to get me organized!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nifty idea!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.juicycoutureonline.co.uk/
ReplyDeleteMy favorite filing tip would be always get rid of what you know longer need. It's so much easier to be organized if you don't have a bunch of stuff that you are never going to need taking up space in your file cabinet!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try these.
ReplyDeleteThese look great. My best tip is to decide what you need to keep (and what you don't -utility bills from last 20 years!) set aside those docs as you receive them and then file on a set day each month.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if this is the best tip but to keep paper under control we go through the mail daily and sort it right away. No more keeping unwanted papers!
ReplyDeleteWe do the same! Sort as soon as we walk in the door and then either recycle, throw away, keep, file appropriately etc. Really cuts down on paper pile clutter.
DeletePunch & file in folders! So... old school! And wastes paper folders too... :(
ReplyDeleteA way to get paper clutter under control!
ReplyDeleteSmall houses like mine need paper organization. Looks like a great product!
ReplyDeleteI keep paper clutter under control by taking care of the mail as soon as I bring it into the house.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic concept! I really like anything that can keep me organized, but can be used again and again as our needs change. Thank you for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI am a teacher and have SO many papers! I organize by hanging files all the time by unit and each child has their own file too!
ReplyDeleteThis would be so awesome to win. I love being organized!
ReplyDeleteI love these! I have a decent filing system, but I can never see the tabs, so I have to remember and hunt around for the correct folders. That makes filing such a pain! I think it'd be so much easier with this system, and I love the dry erase aspect. Most of mine are scribbled out right now!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try these! I need to update my filing cabinet soon and this would be a wonderful addition!!
ReplyDeleteMy two favorite paper organizing tips -
ReplyDelete1: if you already have paperwork under control, go through it all at least once a year - old bills or items you realize you no longer need to hold on to (I did this and found a manual for a kitchen gadget I got rid of years ago)!
2: if you have an overwhelming stack of papers to organize, set a goal of organizing 10 per day (or however many make sense with the size of the stack) until the stack is gone and the paperwork is nicely organized!
I file things right away before the paper clutter gets out of control.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing I did to organize my filing was to take large files that aren't used much like instruction manuals out of the file drawer and put them in cute file boxes on top of a shelf. I staple the receipt right in the manual so they're easy to find for warranty service.
ReplyDeleteLove how you can reuse and reuse!! Just started my filing organization project... Perfect timing!

ReplyDeleteWow that is a product where you say out loud "why didn't I think of that!"
ReplyDeleteI've created my own rolodex for my smaller files, like pics of things I want to make.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tip is start the organizing before the paperwork gets overwhelming!
ReplyDeletelguilboATgmailDOTcom
Would love to win! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI make it a point to file daily. Only way I keep paper clutter down to a minimum.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!! This would make life soo much easier!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Less waste and better oranization = happy mom!
ReplyDeleteI love these what an awesome way to label your files. I just made a new workspace in our spare room and the only thing left to do is get filing storage and hanging files for my office. These would be a great thing to have!
ReplyDeleteI unfortunately inherited my mother's horrible paper hoarding habits... BUT I am determined to not let the habit control my house! So I have a wire basket that will hold about a weeks worth of mail and after that it starts to overflow so while I roll my eyes at the thought of having to deal with it every week, when I empty and sort it I get this amazing feeling like I just decluttered the entire house! Paper clutter is so smothering but purging is a great freeing feeling!!! My sort system is a black plastic file folder case that has tons of folders for everything life throws at us and it's easily portable around the house or to the tax lady during tax season so that I can pull out any kind of receipts and paperwork she might suggest could help!
ReplyDeleteNo more turning file folders inside to write a new label. This is a great idea! Would love to win.
ReplyDeleteThe best tip I can think of is to stay on top of it! If not the piles get higher and I tend to get discouraged.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
um...not sure I want to admit it, but I don't have any tips because my paper filing is a MESS! Hopefully a pretty new system will motivate me to get moving and make it work! :)
ReplyDeleteWow these are cool! My filing system could use a serious makeover!
ReplyDeleteI love color coding file folders and labeling everything!
ReplyDeleteI try to stay on top of filing. I haven't done it yet, but I will be going through my files in the somewhat near future and assessing what I can really keep vs. what I can get somewhere else (online) or scan into PDFS.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try these! Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYou know, i haven't found my favorite filing system yet - I've tried lots, but have been unable to keep it up, which i think means that they're not right for me.
ReplyDeleteI seriously need to find something!
Would be nice.
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed to say my filing system is always trying to find the best filing system. I try one system out, get everything set up and then a couple of days later think of a new way and the whole process starts again :/
ReplyDeleteThis is such a good idea! I hate having my files look old and messy with crossed of labels!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite paper clutter conquering tip is to scan some documents and just keep digital copies instead of paper ones.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so much easier than dealing with the old tab and slot method. Much less paper wasted.

ReplyDeleteI am drooling over these!!!!!! Sign me up pulease!
ReplyDeleteAll I use now is a filing box I got from Target, which I love, but I am constantly having to switch up the tabs, make new ones from index cards etc. These would be fabulous!
My favorite tip is to go through papers/mail when you get them. Don't let them pile up and become an overwhelming mess.
ReplyDeletethese look great! i have a filing cabinet that is itching to be spray painted some fun color before coming to life!
ReplyDeleteWould love to try these! My filing cabinet is in a total mess right now and I have reorganizing it on my "to-do" list. These tabs look great!
ReplyDeleteI am trying your system of sorting school papers when they come through the door. This would make things very easy!
ReplyDeleteI never knew these existed! I LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteOhhh! I hope I win! I need to re-organize my file cabinet. Perfect solution!
ReplyDeletencmz02aug06@yahoo.com
Normally I like printing my file labels onto Avery address labels - it makes them look clean and streamlined!
ReplyDeleteI need a new filing system!!
ReplyDeleteI'm moving into a tiny apartment this weekend, so I could use some organization!
ReplyDeleteLove these! They would be great for organizing my kids' schoolwork by year. :o)
ReplyDeleteThe two things that help me most with my filing are labeling not based on what sounds most official but on what makes the most sense to Ben so he feels comfortable with it and filing as I go, if I start a too file pile I get too intimidated by it.
ReplyDeleteTHis would really improve my current filing system which is lacking just a bit of a finished look
ReplyDeleteI file paper work immediately, so that it doesn't pile up on our kitchen counter! These look awesome.
ReplyDeleteOMG - my husband saves EVERYTHING (receipts from 10+ years ago!). These are perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic! I love organizing because of products like this.
ReplyDeleteAbout a year ago I moved to a mostly paper-free filing system, and kept what needed to be on paper in a set of four binders. This binder system is so not working for us AT ALL, and I've been thinking I should probably move back to a small filing box or cabinet, maybe a fire & water proof one. Anyway, since we're all green over here, this would be fantastic to have and be the catalyst I need to get me on that project.

ReplyDeleteI started getting most of my bills online only so I could declutter and then we have a file cabinet to divide things like our medical, car maintainence, house purchases etc. We also have a spreadsheet with all of our monthly bills on it that we fill out each month the due date, what due, amount paid and date etc (since most of said bills are online). It has helped us go through our mail much quicker!
ReplyDeleteI organize in piles. Would live these to help me out!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite filing tip is to have 1 designated spot for things that need to be filed. Then I file them once a week. And every 6 months, I go through and purge anything that isn't needed anymore. And shred it!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Like someone else said, one of those GENIUS ideas that you wonder why no-one thought of it before. I loathe those little bits of paper that often get lost or just look crappy. I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!! My favourite paper handling technique is to sort mail immediately. First stop, the recycle bin. Keeps our papers in some sort of control (at least until they hit the abyss that is my husband's desk...he doesn't have any systems...yet).
ReplyDeleteSure hope that I'm lucky enough to be a winner!
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty snazzy!
ReplyDeleteNeat idea!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Why did I never think of that...
ReplyDeleteI have an on-desk filing system for the stuff I need to access on a regular basis. And to clear paper clutter I scan important documents and then shred shred shred.
ReplyDeleteI try to file it the first time I touch the paper, if only everyone else in the family would convert!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win!
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea!
ReplyDeleteJust thinking that I need to label the hanging files - this is great thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love these!
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea! i hate those little tabs with the paper inside them, they are so hard to re-use
ReplyDeleteThese look like a great idea and I do love office supplies!
ReplyDeleteI have several file boxes for different things. I have one that covers bills (medical, home, etc) another that is for homeschooling (one per child) and finally one that locks and is firesafe for original important documents like birth certificates and wills. It make life so much easier when it comes time to look for those papers. Th
ReplyDeleteIn my file cabinet, I place all the file labels in a straight line instead of staggered. It looks neater that way, and I never have to worry abou a label getting out of line. Plus it is easier to remove or add files as needed.
ReplyDeleteNadineandethan @ sbcglobal.net
What a neat system. I always have a problem with the little pieces of paper in the tab falling out.
ReplyDeleteDJ
Awesome product. I always rip the little paper labels that come with the traditional filing systems.
ReplyDeleteI don't currently have a filing system. I know, I should hang my head in shame! I really need one though. Hope I win!
ReplyDeleteOh hooray! Another office supply to fall in love with and obsess over! Hooray for FileTek! I file mostly by scanning my things in, but there are a LOT of things I have to keep in paper form. So, keeping track of those things in a flexible way would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try these. I dread filing papers, but this looks fun and easy. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI still rely on an old-fashion paper filing system, which I like to keep highly organized. This kit will help with that endeavor for sure!
ReplyDeleteI have several file boxes and drawers in my house and like to keep everything labeled. These would really help out!
ReplyDeleteThese look cool. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletemegandurant AT gmail DOT com
I keep monthly folders... where everything goes in. I have four sets of these, for the four years most items are needing to be kept (really three, but that fourth year is when I start the purge). During that fourth year I go through the folder and anything that needs to be kept longer gets moved to the long term storage filing cabinet and everything else gets trashed.
ReplyDeletePerfect timing. Just last night had to look in 4 places to find last Spring's report card for honor's membership. This system would be very helpful for our large busy family.

ReplyDeleteLove me some labels
ReplyDeleteThis defiently make things a lot easier come tax season for an at home business, as well as personal taxes.
ReplyDeleteThese look easy to change & clip on. would love some!
ReplyDeletei hate paper. i deal with it all day, then come home and have to do it some more. These would make life more fun, but I'm not sure i'll start loving paper anytime soon! Thanks for the great giveaways, Jen!
ReplyDeleteI've been working on organizing my paperwork for the last month! I was just writing on the backs of all of my file labels but that means there is something completely random written on the back of them all. Haha.
ReplyDeleteI don't currently have a good filing system :(
ReplyDeleteI want some!!!
ReplyDeleteLove these! Less waste.
ReplyDeleteI use hanging files, manilla folder and binders to organize our papers.
ReplyDeleteRight now I just write on colorful folders. What I do like is that I have finally started getting ahead of the game. I started this summer by buying folders BEFORE the start of the school year and marking them with the kids names and grades. Now when there is something to save it goes directly into the folder. Easy peasy.
ReplyDeleteOh my, my heart is racing! I ♥ office supplies. Those make sooooo much sense! Would love those!
ReplyDeleteLouise

I would love this for when my kids start school to save their stuff. Right now my filing system is just hanging folders (with no labels - hate the paper ones!) that I put all our manuals in and manila folders for all my bills/important papers.
ReplyDeleteThese look fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI use file crates for my kids' daily homeschool subjects, and a box each for long-term storage. I also love binders. Beyond that, we're a mess!
ReplyDelete"Everything has a place" is my motto and for the mail that I can't take care of immediately - I have a file for it, too! Having a functional and beautiful filing system sure helps!
ReplyDeleteSo clean looking! Love this!
ReplyDeleteThese would be awesome in my home office!!
ReplyDeleteJust DO IT!!
DeleteAccordion file right now...not exactly my favorite though!
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that?! Those would be really awesome for my craft room!
ReplyDeleteLove hanging folders and am constantly changing them out. Would love this! :)
ReplyDeleteWould LOVE to win some of these tabs. They looks so neat! Thanks for a chance!
ReplyDeleteAny kind of folder system make my heart happy!!
ReplyDeleteHayley

My tip is make the files simple and file now!!
ReplyDeleteI've been known to use post-it notes to change names on my file folders. This idea makes a lot of sense. The plastic covers are brilliant for preserving the writing. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMy tip...each family member has their own color file folders. Would love to use these tabs at both home and work.
ReplyDeleteI sort through papers as soon as they come in the door into what needs to be tossed, what needs to be addressed now and later, then I put them in the appropriate place. No more paper clutter!
ReplyDeleteHave your files accessible and easy to use so you don't get behind on filing and then just end up with a big mess!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! One of my big goals for our new place is to get those piles of papers organized and easy-to-access.
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway!! I'm just in the process of organizing my files after moving into a new home and creating an office out of a dining room! This would be super helpful :)
ReplyDeleteI use file folders in plastic buckets, so any time we need to evacuate for a hurricane, it can be grabbed easily.
ReplyDeleteThese look awesome! I always try to file things immediately so that A. they dont get lost and B. my house doesn't get too cluttered with papers waiting to be filed. I separate everything into piles, example-bills, children's toy manuals, receipts, medical, cars, etc. Then file away!
ReplyDeleteI sort mail as soon as I get it and file the important things into a filing cabinet with hanging folders.
ReplyDeletewith my son starting kindergarten this year, we bought a filing "box" and will keep school papers that we want to keep in it. Each year has its own folder. No more than what fits in the folder will be saved each year (and all in one place)!
ReplyDeleteThese are great as much as I change my mind on my system of filing I go through a ton of tabs. This would make life a breeze
ReplyDeleteThese would be so much easier when filing.
ReplyDeleteWow! So much easier to complete school work and other tasks!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea of wipe off tabs- I get so tired of having to place labels over labels when re-using my file folders! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletethese are awesome!
ReplyDeleteThese are great. I'm always changing filing systems!
ReplyDeleteI have needed to organize and file our things for six years. This would definitely motivate me! :)
ReplyDeleteI love filing! And I really need more folders and tabs!
ReplyDeleteI have a "short term" file box and my "long term" file cabinet. I sort & purge them all in April after filing taxes (or at least I intend to..some years get missed)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to use these when I win!!!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.shilohstaste.com
LOVE these!! Such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI could use these!!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't put things away no system in the world will work for you.
ReplyDeleteI am using file boxes like the ones you made for your boys' school papers. It is working wonders!
ReplyDeleteFun new idea - I love using files for everything-I have three files drawers FULL! I think I need to purge.
ReplyDeleteI am using file boxes like the ones you made for your boys' school papers. It is working wonders!
ReplyDeleteThe important thing with paperwork is to not let it pile up before tackling. I have a small basket that I put papers in that need to be filed. Once a week as I pay bills I empty my basket. The basket has to be small enough so you are not tempted to fill it.
ReplyDeletei am an organizing, filing fiend - these would be so wonderful for my office! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome!! My current system is piles, everywhere and in everyroom. I finally bought a hanging file bin for the stuff I need to keep and these would be perfect!! I hate turning labels over to write new ones, you always can see the shadow left behind and it looks messy. Also, as soon as I set up my system and add tabs, I'll change my mind! I have been using post-it notes as tabs!!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite filing/paper clutter strategy is actually a tedious one. I just finished three years of college and have all the papers from each year in a reusable grocery bag. I'm going to be taking these notes and condensing them into smaller study notes. Each course will have its own duatang, then each year will have it's own magazine holder. I have an exam in four years to finalize my "status", so having these condensed versions of the notes is an asset.
ReplyDeleteThis is genius! I LOATHE the whole teeny paper slips that are a huge pain to print on. I live by my filing system. These would make life so much easier!
ReplyDeleteThese look great. Would love to try and hope I win!!
ReplyDeleteI have started to use binders and printing less.
ReplyDeleteIt's not my favorite thing to do, but I'm always happier once it's done. I shuffle through papers, dividing them into recycle, shred, and file. Then I take care of the first two ASAP. The to file papers get divided into categories and place them in a labeled folder in my portable file box. I could use those file labels for these files!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I use binders and folders to organize my recipes, craft projects ripped out of magazines (which I put into clear page protectors) and am currently working on a Christmas Planner. I'd love to win some new organizing supplies! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this idea!
ReplyDeleteI think that my biggest/best tip would be tackling the junk mail as soon as it is received. I go through my mail and immediately drop the junk into the recycle bin and it is one less thing that I have to worry about.
ReplyDeleteI am a teacher, and managing papers from my students is a never ending battle. Recently, I assigned a file for each student so I can drop corrected work in their folders to keep a running portfolio of work for conference time. We'll see how long it lasts!
ReplyDeleteI file papers every week - a week's worth seems to be just right for having enough papers to file without feeling like I'm wasting my time, but not so many that I feel overwhelmed by the load.
ReplyDeleteI have a huge filing cabinet where I keep all the filing. I make sure I stay on top of it every week!
ReplyDeleteI make sure to go through my entire file cabinet yearly to declutter and start fresh for the new year! These look awesome, I could definitely use them.
ReplyDeleteI definitely need help organizing. But binders have been a huge help in help keep everything organized. These clips would be a great addition to the classroom.
ReplyDeletewhen filing bills just keep the last one. It has the most current info to see if you have any questions.
ReplyDeleteAs a teacher, I always need organizing help! these would work great for my unit plans?
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a paper organizing tip, but I need some!
ReplyDeleteI only save what I really need to file - everything else gets tossed/recycled. I also take pictures of art work that is precious to the kids but perhaps notsomuch to me, and then they'll consent to my tossing it.
ReplyDeleteI love to file in binders and would totally use these!
ReplyDeleteMy big filing tip is to only keep things for as long as I need to - not keeping a giant stack of utility bills from twenty years ago!
ReplyDeleteI color code my files (i.e. red is medical, blue is credit cards, etc.). It saves me so much time!
ReplyDeleteOh, this are absolutely fabulous. I detest those little pieces of paper that you gotta fumble to get in there, always fall out. This is coolness.
ReplyDeleteThese are great!
ReplyDeleteThese look awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI already use filertek and would LOVE to continue to organize our home office!!
ReplyDeleteLove these! Thanks for the give away.
ReplyDeleteI love having hanging folders and files for everything! I even bought a file box for my fiancé!
ReplyDeleteLove these! I'm already imagining an updated system to organize all of my son's keepsakes!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, why has this not been invented before now? I hate those 1-2 use paper labels!
ReplyDeleteRight now we're just using hanging file folders but have to create new ones frequently. This looks like a great solution!
ReplyDeleteI like using binders fort filing current school information. This system would be great to use! Ingenious idea for the tabs!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I need this!!!! I love to file everything so that in a moments notice is something is needed - I know where it is! I usually keep important papers or things that I reference often in a cute basket that holds legal file folders. Other things I file and put in a box and store in a closet.
ReplyDeleteI helped my college bound daughter start a file system for her financial aid, scholarships, bank statements, receipts, etc. so she can find things when she needs them in her new dorm room.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a fun giveaway!
Julie
wjtrout@paulbunyan.net
My favorite paper conquering strategy is to not let it sit! When my daughter brings home papers or I bring in the mail, it is either recycled or filed in its proper space!
ReplyDeleteLove these file tabs! Thanks for the chance!
angiedkelly at gmail dot com
My filing system is still non-existent though I'm eager to get one started!
ReplyDeleteI would love these file and start filling it all up. I wish I could start right now.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try these... I'm in desperate need of all the organizational help I can get
ReplyDeleteMy best filing tip is to never keep anything that can be found online (ie, bank statements, insurance documents)
ReplyDeleteGenius. Why didn't I think of that. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this giveaway, I wish I had a fav filing system but the truth is I have a bad paper clutter problem, and have not found a system that works for me!
ReplyDeleteI dont have any magic or unusual solutions for anyone but I do find that having a file or place for each of the type of papers I need to file really helps. The first folder in each of my filing cabinet drawers I have an Ongoing file, which are the ones that just need to be dealt with first, and then filed (or thrown away).
ReplyDelete
