We have no big Spring Break plans. Our 6 year old is going to visit his grandparents for the week, but that's about it. However, this weekend is St. Patrick's Day in Savannah, which is crazy huge so we're heading downtown to see the parade and festivities.
Right now, I'm super jealous of what looks to be an indoor waterpark. That looks fun. LOL!
I don't think parade season ended here. While we had some chilly days (and by chilly, I mean low 50's, that's chilly for Savannah) it pretty much stayed in the 60s all winter, and this week it's been gorgeous!
I am jealous of your cold weather and chance for snow. I love snow!
Your little boys are precious!!! Not really any big spring break plans here. We don't have ours until the second week in April, :( but my husband coaches baseball. So, he will be busy with practice and games all that week. Kinda stinks! I will just look at your pictures and visualize myself having fun at the waterpark. ; )
Hey! I recognize that fake water-squirting tree! We love the Dells! Have a blast. We're heading to AZ in a few weeks to visit cousins/aunts/uncles for 12 days. Can't wait!
We leave next week for 9 days in Palm Desert CA! Sunny days! With a surprise trip to San Diego to LEGO LAND for the kiddo's. THey will die when we pull up! :) SO excited!
So cute -- are you guys at a Great Wolf Lodge? We're heading one town over, to Ft. Worth, for a few nights in a hotel (ie, indoor pool!) Have fun with those cuties!!
Hi Cassie! Just across the way at the Kalahari resort actually. But they are very similar and both great options for vacation! <3 Have fun in Ft. Worth!
Spring break! A luxury that I so miss. I used to work as a Guidance Counselor and I got all the school vacations off. Now that I have a different adminstrative role in a school with a year round preschool, I don't have that anymore. If I were getting spring break, I think I would read a lot and spend some time with my grandbabies that I don't get to when work is in session.
Fun!! I can't wait for Spring break to get here (one more week), hoping we make it to the beach if the weather is nice :) You would think "Sunny CA" is always sunny- but it's not.... Enjoy your family time!! Colleen
I rarely (ever?) write sappy things to people I don't know, but I must say, I love your positivity. It's contagious and I ALWAYS "leave" your blog feeling just a bit happier. Kinda like when a stranger in the grocery gives you a genuine smile. :-)
Well THANK YOU Catherine! That means worlds to this girl and it makes me super smiley to know I am accomplishing what I set out to do, and that is to make this a happy place!
My husband works at a highschool and he is chaperoning the band tour to Disneyland while I stay home and go to work...I'm just a little jealous :) Hope you guys are having a great time!
Looks like so much fun! We still have another month before Spring Break here. No plans as of yet but I could really use a trip to the beach. Maybe I can convince my husband ;)
Oh wow! I as at the Kalahari this past Saturday too! Not for fun, but for a meeting. I can brag about being at the same place Jen was!! Too bad I didn't run into you! Actually, it's probably a good thing, I would have wanted a picture taken with you to prove it! LOL
That is so funny! I had no idea that Kalahri was a chain. I take my kids to the one outside of Cleveland about once a year (that's all I can take!). Between the tats and the bods and the chemicals . . . oh my! But the kids sure do love it. We're overdue for a visit, so thanks for the inspiration.

Spring Break, I'm loving it. The background on the photo looks like the Great Wolf Lodge. We spend it there last year for spring break in Ontario.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually the Kalahari, but they are both very similar and fabulous places to stay! <3

Looks like fun!! If you are at the Dells, you aren't too far from my house. ;) Have a great time!! Spring cleaning here and working.
ReplyDeleteI remember my days as a little girl, I would always get so excited when my parents took me to the waterpark.(: Have fun!

ReplyDeleteOh, I want to do that with my kids SO badly! It's on the wish list for next year! Hope you have a super fabulous time!!

Hmmmm that looks suspiciously like the Dells :) Sadly I work so no spring break fun here, unless we do a weekend. Maybe we'll go to the Dells :)
ReplyDeleteIs that Kalahari? Are you guys Clevelanders?
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy!
