272 IHeart: Boon Grip and a GIVEAWAY!

We all have proud moments as parents.  First steps.  First words.  First lost tooth.  First grand slam at a little league game.

I recently had a VERY proud moment as a mom.

One of my fav companies, Boon Inc, recently popped over a Boon Grip for us to try out.

I was beyond excited and my poor hubs was listing in as I was spouting out 101 ways we could use the new hook system.  Parker was nearby and thought it would be a good idea to chime in with his thoughts on the subject.

"Mom, I think we should put it in the playroom, and use it to organize our Wii controllers!"

I have created a five year old organizing genius.  His idea was far superior to any I had thought up.  So we implemented Parker's first organizing project!

Using a level and some wall anchors, the hook installed quickly and easily, right next to the entertainment center in the playroom.

The next step was just to hang the WiiMotes and WiiWheels {using some ribbon}, on the hooks!

Super smart.  Super simple!  Super big smiles!

{yes, the wiimotes are loved in this house, and dirty!}

Of course, we just found one way out of the infinite options that are available for the hook.  It's sleek, durable, kid friendly and versatile enough to work in any room of the home!

Boon Inc loves you too!  Today, they are giving one of these sweet hook systems away to YOU!

  1. That thing is awesome! I have other Boon products that I really like. I would probably use it in our playroom as well for dress up clothes and bags my little girl plays with.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Definitely a cool product. I would put it in the laundry room for my aprons, bags, miscellaneous stuff that I never know where to hang.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I would use it to hang up the growing number of coats and bags my toddler seems to be accumulating! I didn't know a toddler could have so many coats!

    ReplyDelete
  4. I would put it at the top of our basement steps. We sorely need a spot to hang winter hats and gloves.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I would use this for all my pups items we need in a quick snag. My husband and I don't have kids yet so Winston (our pup) is our "child". We have things of his we need to have organized to grab at a quick hand, leash, collar (he only wears it when outside), towel (to dry him off on wet and snowy days), toys, etc., clippers, brushes. I know.. i know spoiled right. This would be neat to utilize though!

  6. OMG! That is cool. I never heard of them until now.

By the way, how do I know if you have my contact information? I don't remember completing any form.
    Thanks!

  8. I would put next to our front door because my girls have a tendency to take off coats and backpack anywhere on the floor.

  19. I think I would have to take a cue from Parker and use it for our gaming remotes. We have a Wii and Playstation and as of right now they are jumbled in a plastic box. It's a messy place for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Honestly, I would use it the same way as you. All of our Wii remotes are in an unsightly boring plastic bin and the buttons always get pushed causing the batteries to drain faster. Your son is a genius!!

  97. I would use this in my kid's room to hang clothes on. Super neat.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Ooh, where do I start? I'd use it for the kids' towels in the bathroom, or for the girls' dress-up clothes in their room, or I really love the idea of organizing the Wii remotes... so many choices!

  99. I just want to say your blog is the CUTEST!!

If I had the Boon I would use it to hang my jewelery, headbands and other accessories.
I currently just throw them all in one drawer and do a scavenger hunt whenever I need one, so I think it would be cool and helpful.

    :)

  100. I would love to put the Boon in my son's closet. He has tons of Halloween costumes...you know, for those "everyday I'm a super hero" years. But the material is too delicate for coat hooks and they get ripped...this would be an excellent solution.

Thanks as always for your insight Jen!

  103. I wonder how much weight they can hold up. I would use them for my bookbags and other assorted things that always end up littering my floors. In fact, if they come in other colors eg, black, it might be a good idea to completely cover a bag of a corridor door with these and hang up every riff-raff that annoys you out of sight.

    ReplyDelete
  104. It's so cute! That's what I love about Boon products...they are so attractive while staying super functional. I'm going to be boring and say that I would put it inside my kitchen door, to store jackets and hats when we come inside. Right now we are using the hooks that stick to the wall....except they don't stick too well sometimes. This is a much better (and more attractive!) choice!

    ReplyDelete
  105. And I'm following them on Twitter. :)

Or maybe I would use it for purses so they're not just piled in the closet. Decisions decisions...
