I am so excited to finally be sharing details from our recent "end of summer" family getaway to the Wisconsin Dells Kalahari resort!
I mentioned in my previous post, that we head to the destination frequently, since it's only about 3 hours from our home and is full of so many amazing amenities that make it the perfect vacation for our entire family!
This recent trip of ours, we were able to stay in one of the resort suites, which had a private bedroom and full living/kitchen/dining area! Talk about fantastic!
And being the avid organizer I am, I could totally appreciate that they had all of their cabinets and drawers completely organized and stocked so we could save moola by eating at the resort vs. heading out and about!
They even had sweet towel animals on each of the beds, which the kids got a huge kick out of!
So what did the boys think of the space we were going to snuggle up in?
Their smiles speak a thousand words!
And I always dream of heading off on far away tropical destinations, but since that won't be happening anytime soon, especially with the kidlets, this place is the next best thing! It gives that tropical vacation feeling, even when the sun sets, check out the ooh la la view from the patio:
Although the room was pretty amazing, the water parks are where all of the fun is at, and where we pretty much spend each waking hour playing, splashing, swimming, sliding and relaxing! When it's sunny, the outdoor water park is INCREDIBLE!
It was slightly chilly while we were there, but that wasn't going to stop us for enjoying every second the sun was out! And when it went down, we went inside, to their OTHER water park!
It really makes you wonder if one can ever have too much fun? If so, this would be the place!
We spent every last second of the night at the indoor water park, and went back right away in the morning for another two hours before we checked out.
Before we left, we buzzed over to the Indoor Theme Park, where they have a huge arcade, indoor ferris wheel, bowling, laser tag, go-karts, mini golf and tons of play areas for littles!
Of course we always take advantage of as many of the options as we can while we are there! It is our family happy place!
As you can see from the pictures, this place is a wonderland!
Who wants to find out for firsthand how amazing it is??
Not only does the Kalahari currently have an exclusive offer for IHeart Organizing readers, they are also offering a contest to win a one night stay at one of their amazing resorts! It's OK to scream and happy dance!

Wow- that does look like a lot of fun. I have family in Wisconsin, so I am going to suggest this to the hubs as something to do when we go out there to visit!
ReplyDeleteWe just moved from Wisconsin but loved the Dells! We are not far away even now and just spent our vacation there in August! Such a fun family town, we like to call it the Vegas of the midwest! Lol!
ReplyDeleteI just recently found your blog and have looked through quite a bit of it (love love love it) but I didn't realize you were a fellow Wisconsinite! My husband I got engaged in the Dells, but have since relocated to Georgia. I wish we were closer so I could enter :)
ReplyDeleteAhhh I love Kalahari!! My sister lives right near the Dells, so we used to go all the time when we were younger. My littles are 1 and 2, so we are just getting to the age where they would really like it. I'm so excited to be able to take them someday! You guys look like you had so much fun.
