You know what really makes my heart smile? When I find a really great product, that is really great quality and GREEN!
Kaiser Kreations is a family run business...they are a family of 8 {almost 9!} who loves to create, and they have always enjoyed sharing with others what they make. Their desire is to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in their kids while they are young, and starting an online business has been a great start!
Chris, along with her 6 kids, go hunting at thrift stores for the sheets that they use to create things. The 3 boys help with the cutting and the 2 girls help with the sewing {one daughter is only 2!}. They each take turns packaging orders and going to the post office. It truly is a family affair!

I Heart Sammy Totes! and some of their luscious soaps...I thought they were bar cookies when I first saw them on etsy...too yummy looking! ReplyDeleteiHeart Sammy Totes! I absolutely love that these parents are getting their children involved in such a creative activity. I also love that they are taking something vintage and turning it into something completely new. I am a scrapbooker and reuse everything I can! This coming Fall I will be completing my last semester as a student teacher and think that carrying my books and activities around in one of these totes would make the just about the cutest teacher around! I would also love to grab groceries in them for me and my new hubby!

ReplyDeleteI'm a college girl who LOVES free things, and I would love to use these adorable bags to use for my groceries, to load the loot from my couponing addiction, and to help encourage other college kids to go green and use reusable bags!
I love anything handmade, and I LOVE things that help me go green! I started my journey towards green-ness about 6 months ago, and remembering to take my reusable bags to the store has been the toughest thing to change! I think these cute bags would change that real quick - who would forget a cute bag?! :)

IHeart Sammy Totes! These bags are adorable! And so needed! I try to use all of my own bags while shopping but they aren't very attractive so I usually end up putting all of the grocery store bought bags and carry in them in the cutest bag I have so that I look as cute as I can while shopping! :-) I would also use this as an every day bag. With a 4 and 7 year old, I am always laden with books, cars, Barbies, etc whenever we go out. I hate to be caught out with nothing other than Angry Birds to entertain the kids! A mom can only take the music from Angry Birds for so long. lol Thank you for the opportunity to win these caw-ute bags!!

Of course #1 would be used for the market and groceries and I would use it for my yarn bag. I do ALOT of charitable knitting and would take a Kaiser Kreations tote everywhere! ReplyDeleteOuting Bag - I have six kids, five under the age of seven. We hit the zoo and park on a regular basis and everytime I find myself repacking the same thing... sunscreen, sunglasses, wipes, water bottles, etc. It would be nice to have a dedicated bag.
Picnic supplies - I have a collection of washable plastic plates, cups and silverware that we use for picnics, but they have no real home. Those along with a roll of papertowels and a couple of trash bags would make a perfect permanent picnic bag.
Car Bag - My youngest two are 3, so I don't carry a diaper bag, but I still need a change of clothes in the car for those occasional accidents.
Dance Bag - I've been carrying my tap shoes back and forth to class in a shoe box. A bag would work better and that way I could through in a hand towel to mop up the sweat.
Kids Bags - We have a line of hooks at kid level in our entry way. We used to have a reusable grocery sack for each kid where we stored there shoes, flip-flops, slippers, hats, mittens, sunglasses, etc, but they eventually fell apart. I would love to do this again. Having all of there belongings already sorted makes a huge difference in their ability to get themselves ready. I'm tired of the giant basket of shoes being emptied onto the floor everytime someone tries to find there shoes.
While I'd love to win this give-away, clearly I need to go buy myself some bags!
