Reader Space: Amanda's Conquered Closets!

Since I just revealed the first part of our bedroom switcharoo project this week, and a large part of that included updating some closet storage, this Reader Space couldn't have come at a better time!

You may remember Amanda from a previous Reader Space post, in which I featured her uber organized office bookshelves.  Well, this gal is back again with some more amazing built in storage, this time in her closets!  I am thinking closet built-ins are sweeter than the sugar I want to sprinkle on my cheerios.

Her and the hubs got organized in a most fantastical way... by placing built in storage on the floors of many of their closets throughout their entire home!  The built ins offer SO MUCH versatility, from shoes, to bags to bins and bedding... the options are endless from space to space!

Since I am focusing this month on bedrooms, I thought I would show you a couple from her bedroom spaces.

First off, check out her little munchkin's closets...

This closet screams of function!  The cubes are the perfect size for inexpensive clear and covered storage containers.  They keep diapers, extra bedding, wipes, socks and pajamas stored in the closet.  They also use a laundry bag which hangs to save space.

Amanda also hangs all of their clothes to save time on folding and stores the kiddo's extra larger clothes to switch out as they grow, up in the larger bins on the top shelves.

One word - GENIUS!

She also utilized the built in's in her guest room, to make the closet space nothing short of perfect for her visitors!

Here they provide extra clean bed linens, and plenty of storage for their smiling guests to place their personal belongings and hang their clothes!  Hello hospitality!!

A special THANK YOU to Amanda for sharing more of her incredible home storage with us!  You can see the rest of her closets on her blog, along with loads more content to keep you fixated for hours, so be prepared!

P.S.  Have an awesome story to share?  How about some organizing tips and tricks?  Maybe a project completed from an inspiration found?  Please send your story and photos to iheartorganizing@gmail.com and I would heart to feature them right here, on the blog!!
