Happy month of March everyone! I am so eager for spring to come {on March 20th!}, that with the new month, I decided to snag a bouquet of tulips from the grocery store... and they couldn't have made my kitchen table feel more bright and fresh!
I actually split the bouquet into two halves, each in a large Kerr canning jar, and flanked them on each side of a platter and bowl of fresh fruits.
It's been so long since I have had live fresh flowers in the homestead, words can't explain how they brightened me from the winter blues.
From this moment on, I vow to never be fresh flowerless again.
Beautiful! I love fresh flowers, as well. I posted about almost the same thing today, too. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jen,
ReplyDeleteFound you on Pinterest and bookmarked your blog. Love all of your ideas and I've already reorganized my den closet, and hung a shelf with hooks below / bins above to corral junk that my lovely men leave laying around. If you love fresh flowers, think about planting daylilies...they come in all colors, some re-bloom even in the midwest (I'm near Chicago) and are perennials that keep coming back. I had a big party for my mom's 80th birthday and the daylilies were still blooming in October!!
