Whenever I go missing, it's probably a safe bet that I could be found digging in a cabinet, drawer or closet, paring things down, rearranging and spinning my gears. Always looking at each and every space, wondering what could be done to to beautify and simplify that zone. I can't stop. Really. It's the most fantastic addiction. Well, until I am lying in bed trying to fall asleep and all I can think about is what piece of decorative paper I am going to use on that next innocent soup can....
There was a day when I would strive for "perfection", however, my little guys now keep me grounded and have helped me realize that it is important to strive for simplicity and balance instead.
Speaking of my little lads, I am an overly proud mama to the beautiful and active three little P's. Life is constantly chaotic in the most fulfilling and blessed way! I have realized that in between running to baseball, scouts, soccer and studying for those weekly spelling tests, I don't care to spend my time searching for cleats and water bottles, but would rather be spending my spare seconds enjoying my gorgeous family.
I once read somewhere that the average person spends forty minutes per day searching for things. YIKES! I also read somewhere that for every minute invested in getting organized, an hour is earned. That is an amazing return on your investment, I couldn't be more certain of that!
Our family has gained so many benefits from being organized, but the biggest gift is the time we gain to enjoy one another!
I am currently a stay at home mom, in a small town in Western Wisconsin, and as much as my plans and dreams are always evolving, being home with my tiny tots is number one to this gal. My youngest just entered first grade which means my baby is quickly going from finger foods to drivers permit, so I am doing what I can to ensure not a single great moment is missed. Although "mom" will always be my number one job, I also write here full time, contribute to the Better Homes & Garden's Style Blog and run an online printable shop here.
There really is no better way enjoy my passion for organizing, than through this blog. I love trying out new systems and sharing our successes along with lessons learned along the way. Throw in some fun DIY projects and hopefully there is a little something for everyone popping by.
And of course, what makes this blog even better? Why hearing from you of course! So feel free to drop me a line at info@iheartorganizing.com, or leave a comment on the blog or Facebook, or even better yet, submit to me your organized spaces and/or tips and tricks, so I can share your awesomeness back to the readers. I have so much gratitude for how much you all have taught me along the way! We are nothing but continuous inspiration to one another, and the spark that drives new ideas and motivates us to strive to create a more comfortable lifestyle, whatever the definition of that is to you.
And now it's time to give props to the one IHeart unconditionally each day! None of this would be as easy without the love and support I have from my other half. Whether it's him caving in when I give him my pleading eyes to hang up a floating shelf or new artwork, or having to listen to my endless rants about new ideas or sweet blog comments. Bryan is always there for me, encouraging me to follow my dreams.
Thanks again to all of you for stopping by to cheer me on along the way. You all are what keeps me going that little extra bit further each day, and keeps me coming back to blog and blog some more!

ReplyDeleteI just came across your site (via YHL) and I love it (I'm an organizing freak myself). Plus your boys are absolutely adorable. Little heartbreakers already!
ReplyDeleteLOVING your blog...So much inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI added you to my blogroll through another blog that must have linked to you, and the more I read the more I could absolutely tell you were from WI. So today I thought to run over here, instead of just reading your blog on my Google Reader, and check out your "About" section. And, of course, I was correct that you are also a 'Sconnie. Congrats on being awesome and having an entertaining and beautiful blog as well as being from the best place on earth.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog!!!

ReplyDeleteMiss you lots!
I don't even remember how I found you! I think from searching blogs on organizing pantries I ended up here and you were my absolute favorite of all the other ones I stumbled upon. I wanted to comment to say you are great and inspirational. I wish you could come over to my house one day so we can chit chat while you show me how to organize :) And because I'm also on a journey to pursue my passion as a career, (going to back to design after 8 years in HR), I wanted to show my support :)
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration! I only wish I could be half as creative and organized as you! Keep up the good work!

Such an inspiring blog!! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteTwo years later I find your blog. Would you visit an Iowa friend and get her house in order to look as fabulous as yours!!! Love, love, love everything you have done to make your house look so beautiful. The closet office and study area are awesome. You must not hang clothes???? I need an organizer/decorator. I have fibro and it is so hard getting it all done but I know if I do, life will be so much easier. Could I hire you for a week??? Or do you know anyone in Iowas that does work like you?? You are an inspiration and I look forward to learning many things from you and your blog!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog this morning. So inspiring! Now that the kids are heading back to school I am going to start with my laundry room and get it to look as pretty and functional as yours!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
just wanted to let you know... I'm loving the blonde!! Very stylish :)
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to stop by and tell you that your blog has been such an inspiration for me. My house was so unorganized and just in the last week I have been going through everything and getting rid of what we don't use to simplify and adding all sorts of things to roganize what is left.
ReplyDeleteAlso the plates and bowls in your kiddie cabinet {which was a fab idea that I am borrowing :)} were awsome and the price could not have been better. Mine will be here in a few days.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful ideas and inspiration and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Just discovered your blog via a friend's pin on pinterest.com. I love it and have added you to my iGoogle blogs tab! Thanks for sharing such fun, creative tips.

ReplyDeleteHi, Jen! I have to say I just stumbled upon your blog via pinterest. I am thoroughly enjoying every word, tip and pic! As a matter of fact this is my very first blog subscription!
ReplyDeleteP.S.
I am also from Western Wisconsin!
Hi Jen, I happened on your blog today and really enjoyed going through lots of stuff on here. You remind me of my daughter who has three boys similar in age to yours, and she's passionate about all she puts her mind to, like you.
ReplyDeleteLots to think about, and since I'm from northern Alberta, inside a lot these days. Wondering what I can clean up next. I'll keep watching! All the best!
Hi Jen, I've just discovered your blog, so good!!
ReplyDeleteI'm an interior designer myself (working in a diferent thing not related to design - it's so tough right now in Spain), but going through your posts was so inspiring!! I'm gonna follow you, but I'm new in blogger and I could my the opcion 'Follow', mind helping me?
Thanks and keep doing this amazing things!

I sent your site to my girlfriend. She is in desperate need to organize and keeping things in place. I am very OCD about were things go and a place and space for everything. I love your site and will defiantly be using some of your ideas around my house.
ReplyDeleteWow! You are amazing! I am inspired to re-organize my entire house! I have 3 more months of work outside the home and then I'm a stay at home mom...as soon as the summer is here, I'm starting my projects. Thanks for the tips and help! I know this is your passion, but thank you for using it to help other people!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to have found you. Pinterest pointed me your way! I love organizing and being organized but there are a few areas that are lacking in our house. I can't wait to use some of your ideas to help me. Your blog is the type of blog that I want to sit and look at for a couple of hours during nap time. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteI was so inspired by your studio desk, that I created one of my own. I am in love with how it came out, and have you to thank for the fabulous design. You can see my version of the desk here! http://siemensays.blogspot.com/2012/03/office-makeover.html
ReplyDeleteI perfectly agree with you, if we are organized then we have more time with our precious family because no time will be wasted in looking for something. You inspire me especially that I am a new blogger. Cheers from Sydney
ReplyDeleteYour blog and the information that you provide to the readers is truly inspiring! I am one of those people who holds on to everything, but because of some of your posts, I am now thinking about how I can narrow down some of my items and find a good "home" for them around my house in an organized way! Your family is absolutely adorable as well! Thank you for all your hard work and time dedicated to helping others lead organized lives!
ReplyDeleteI am SO thankful for all your inspiration! I LOVE to organize too and I have lost my touch in all the business of being a newlywed! Thank you so much for re-inspiring me!! I would love it if you stopped by my blog sometime too and I hope that I can inspire you! :)

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog...I love it!
ReplyDeleteYour boys are precious! I too have 3 boys(grown) and I wouldn't trade having boys for anything. And I lived to tell about it!
I'm just now getting to older parts of your blog. We too, suffered several floods in our finished basement. Luckily both were covered by insurance (first was a freak thing - our diaper sprayer exploded and blasted water all night long but we weren't using any rooms down their yet for bedrooms and the second was a huge amount of rain we got a month after we finished the basement the second time, and our sump pump burnt out in the middle of the night - was also in 2010 and we live in South Eastern MN. ) I can't imagine having the extra stress of trying to redo everything without any insurance covering it (which really, I think is SO wrong). Bless you!!!! I strive to have your creativity and organization skills (one day :) ) and stalk your blog daily!!
ReplyDeletehi jen,
ReplyDeleteI am awarding you the "Sunshine Award" - you deserve it! You inspire me in so many ways!

Hi Jen,

But - I am wondering if your day has 48h ? I think I will never make it :-(
All the Best!

I want to be YOU, Jen! Ha, ha, that sounded creepy. No, really, you are fantastic! After 12 years in the classroom I have decided to return to school to persue (a degree?)some textbook knowledge, some inspiration from a technical side on design. I have so many passions that I'm clueless as where to begin, so I'm taking two classes in interior design. It is people like you that sprinkle the most amazing influence to feed what everyone has always called my undiagnosed OCD. In no way is that a joke, OCD, as recognized is a very terrible affliction. However, in my case, my need to organize truly comes from a deep passion to help myself and others make sense of this fun-crazy world. So, if anything, I must say, THANK YOU, Jen, for taking the time to share your amazing talents with the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteWarmly and appreciatively, Natalie

PS-Your kids are adorable!!
WOW! That's all I can say- WOW! Thanks for sharing your genius through this blog. I'm following along!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your blog!!! You have such good taste and every day when I look through your blog, I am inspired to organize my apartment. It was especially difficult moving and getting married and having to fit all of our stuff into one place. Thanks for all the tips :) and feel free to check out my blog as well!! http://designerinteal.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteHi Jen - I too stumbled on your blog while looking for an idea for my kids and I must say, truly brilliant! I am a mother of 2 girls, ages 6 and 8, work full time and also consult full time www.lucasmktg.com. My house is in dire needs of organization and I struggle with where to start and then get overwhelmed and don't do anything. Thanks for all of your tips and your house is gorgeous. I will be stopping by quite frequently ;)

Your blog is really awesome! From now on I will be one of your followers. I simply like it!
ReplyDeleteJen, as so many have said before me I just discovered your blog and it is so delightful! Thank you for so many wonderful ideas! I can't wait to put these ideas into my spaces! Thank you again! :) Rebecca
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog as well! I LOVE it! As a person who has a love for decorating and a mental block to organizing, I was searching the internet for ideas to help with the laundry room and kitchen. WOW! Your home is beautiful but more importantly it is full of great ideas and concepts for organizing I can start doing today. I will definitely be ordering your printables before this week is over. I live in Northern Illinois, near the Wisconsin border, so it was fun to see we are midwest "neighbors" . Thanks for creating this blog and I look forward to learning from you one step at a time! Janelle
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely adorable! & Your family! Hey Jen!
ReplyDeleteWe just moved into our first home and are expecting a baby boy in May! I found your blog via Pinterest and have spent most of the afternoon browsing and finding SO many smart (and pretty) ideas.
Thanks for doing what you do!
Jennifer
Hi Jen,
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I just moved into our first home and are expecting our first baby (a SON!) in May. While looking for home ideas on Pinterest, I was directed to your blog. And am I ever glad that happened! You have so many smart ideas that look amazing. Thanks for sharing what you do!
Jennifer
Hi Jen! I am a fellow blogger and I was wondering how to get the "You Might Also Like" gadget onto my blog. Thanks! Love your blog!!
ReplyDeleteI am expecting my second child and found your blog via Pintrest - ADORE. You are a one woman dynamo - many thanks for the great ideas.
ReplyDeleteHi Jen!! I am sure you may be getting more of these comments after the airing of Clean Freaks. :) I saw you on there and found you to be so inspirational!! I am sort of a chaotic, and spacey thinker so organization does NOT come easy to me. However, I am the mother of two, and suffer from a collagen disorder that makes emergency cleaning sessions, and searching for 15 minutes for a sock unrealistic and uncomfortable. Inside of my chaotic, and indecisive brain is a neat freak wannabe. I have always kept the routines, and basics in place for my little people because being a mother is the most important thing in the world to me. But I need help getting more organized and simplifying our home and life for sure. So, I am thankful to have found you!!!!! Thank you for sharing your gift. I think I'll be spending alot of time here. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it took me so long to view more of your blog after pinning something I found from a friend on Pinterest. You are my new online organized bff!! I look forward to catching up on your posts and reading so many more!
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled on your blog after googling "organizing kitchen cabinets" and I'm so jealous of your talent. I would love to have a house as organized as yours but I get overwhelmed and cannot complete it. I am starting to think that organization is a talent that one is born with, just like brains. Now that I have my baby and am a stay at home mom, I am trying to be more organized but it is so hard!!! Wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteOh my gravy! Jen, you are the person I have been looking for all my adult life!
ReplyDeleteLet me explain a bit more!
After seeing you on HGTV " Clean Freaks" I couldn't stop watching the segment with all your organization skills! Then I found a magazine featuring you in it, of couse I bought the magazine! I had to learn more of your organization! Then through the article, I found your Blog! Yippie Skippy! My prayer was answered! Cuz I was wondering if you did Blog! Now I have been learning and enjoying your blog so much! Thank-you Jen you are the answer to my prayers! I AM getting organized! I bought a label maker, after seeing you on Clean Freaks.
I also organized my Homeschool shelving too! Before, I would get something from the shelf and ten items would fall off! No kidding! But not anymore, my shelves look great! I even took before and after pics. I am so happy!
Foe 2013, I have decided, I will be an organized Mama of two little girlies, that I Homeschool.
~Blessings to you and your Family~
Rhonda
Wow Jen- I just saw you on the new organization show (TLC? HGTV? had to be one...) and now on a pinterest thread! I didn't realize it was the same person until I saw your 3 adorable boys. Can't wait to drool over this blog and learn some new ideas! I am a procrastinator-turned-control freak so I love hearing what ways I can get this 3 bedroom 2 bath house from feeling so cluttered. Amazing how much 2 single people can amass so quickly. I think your site here is gorgeous and I'm so excited to see all about it. Thanks for showing me something beautiful today and giving me hope for my own home. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteHi! I wanted to let you know that the Facebook link is no longer working, however I was able to find you in the search box on Facebook. You have a beautiful site and family! Thank you so much for sharing your passion and inspiring the rest of us!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, I stumbled across your blog about four months ago and you have changed my life! I am the organising queen now and am totally addicted to checking in on the next big project idea! But seriously, I was drowning in a depressive spiral and was completely overwhelmed with the disorganised state of my house with no idea where to start or how to begin my organisational journey. I am a new woman now, my house is about 80% organised with a toy room my kids can maintain and shock, they have more respect for their space and for following rules. You have no idea the effect you've had on my life and I just wanted to thank you so, so much. I love what you do and can't wait to see what's next. P.S. I'm from Melbourne, Australia and love that you use IKEA as we have it here, yay! Sarah xoxo
ReplyDeleteWow! What a website I found today. This site has inspired me so much that I am thinking of using my designing skills to start something for my-self to earn. Jen, you gave me new business ideas. Fabulous! I even printed few printable for my present use. Thanks a lot for inspiring...
ReplyDeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteLove your ideas! Must admit that all the ideas for use of empty cans are running around my head! So happy that I stumbled upon you! By the way, I have also invested in a label maker. Very helpful in containers that are not transparent. Also, it has different scripts and fonts! Makes great gift tags to match your wrapping paper on gifts! Love!
Great website Jen. I have started to trying to organize my business life, and found a lot of inspiration on your blog. Keep posting!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, I'm new to this blogging business but I'm looking forward to following your great organisational advice.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Nay

I'm having my first baby in September and really want to have all the things already in my life in order before I add th baby to the mix cause I don't even know what to expect on that front. Thanks so much for your useful tips. Getting started this week. Annabell from Harare Zimbabwe
ReplyDeletehey lady, don't wait much longer! you should open an interior design business, you are that good! ;)Really amazing!
ReplyDeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know the quote you mention about every minute you spend organizing is an hour earned. Its from Benjamin Franklin - http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/253019-for-every-minute-spent-in-organizing-an-hour-is-earned
So unbelievable to actually read and when you think about it so very true, if your not spending the hour finding what you need, your rushing to the store spending the money > putting you in the poor house.
Your blog is such an inspiration that I have started my own, however unlike you who is already organized, mine is following my aspiration to be organized!
Feel free to check it out www.aspiringtobeorganized.blogspot.ca
I absolutely ADORE your blog. I'm an interior design major and spend a great deal of the free time I DO have watching HGTV and reading interior design magazines for inspiration on the town-home I rent with my friends and your home and all your posts have given me so many great ideas. You're such a genius! I love how you used that wall paper in the guest bedroom closet/desk area. Brilliant, like everything else on this blog!
ReplyDeleteHi ! Im new to this computer world.. but I did run across your beatuiful 2013 colorful planner. And omg its just what I want.. only problem is I have no way to print the pages.. because all I have is internet on my phone. . ..I usally buy the old ugly planners.. and want somthing cheerful ...but I live away from most technology. .I Could you possibly make and mail mrone.. I would gladly pay you .. just send me a number or address that I can call it in or send it to...Thank you. Sandy
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that I absolutely love your website. You are fantastically resourceful and have a great sense of style--and then your blog is really well organized as well! I just spent a couple of hours looking through your project gallery for ideas for my new apartment, and I'm totally wowed. Thanks for all of your hard work--you're a real inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen!
ReplyDeleteBeen reading for awhile now and wanted to say I love your blog. I don't think anyone would describe me as organized, and I'm quite inspired by your ideas! I'm a fellow Wisconsinite, but on the eastern side (went to college in La Crosse though). We're in the process of building a new house...want to organize it sometime? :)
Love love LOVE your blog and have been inspired to start my own blog because of it. Have just made a cuppa and will be settling down to read through all your posts. Thanks for such an amazing place to find inspiration.

ReplyDeleteHello! I've been following your blog for a few months and recently dug into your archives and noticed you use to be a brunette! Did you you ever do a post on going from brunette to blonde?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kari! I never posted about it, but it was a bit of a process and happened gradually to protect my hair. I have a great gal I have been going to for years so she knew all the right steps to slowly foil in the lighter coloring. :) xoxo!
DeleteThis whole blog is absolutely fabulous! Thanks so much for putting so much time and love into your brand. I appreciate the inspiration and look forward to one day being a full-time blogger myself :)
ReplyDeleteGirl. I just found you while trying to look for a 'pretty' way to budget :) I had no idea I'd get beautiful DIY, home ideas, organizing and more!!! You are truly amazing, and I could only wish to have a home as beautiful as yours. I'm in the process of trying to buy my first home, and I've been less than impressed than what I can afford right now. Your blog gives me so much hope in so many forms. I can't wait to order your 2014 planner pages to start my year (and the rest of my life!) off right! Have a blessed Christmas, and I'm definitely bookmarking your blog <3 I wish you much success!
ReplyDeleteSomething I truly love about your blog: you prove that going self-hosted isn't necessary! With everyone going self-hosted I started to think that maybe I should take the plunge, but then I bring myself back to your blog and it reminds me that you don't have to self-host to be successful. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI just love your blog. Your awesome. All the Best :)
ReplyDeleteYou are unbelievable. I was searching for the best way to use the storage area under the steps. Of course everyone was showing it with built ins etc from the outside view. No no not an option for me. Lo and behold I came across your blog and saw what you did. Adapted your idea & now I have great storage without always having to take everything out when I want to get to the stuff in the back!! Love it!! Ro
ReplyDeleteYour idea for under step storage was exactly what I needed. Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Jen, I found your blog via Pinterest and I wanted to say amazing job. You have a beautiful family and an awesome blog. I was reading some of your posts and looking for inspiration to get my own blog started. I love everything about your space keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHello from Sydney Australia! Love your blog and sense of style. Great tips - you've got a new fan!
ReplyDeleteHi! I am wondering what color the main bathroom vanity is...it is a great shade of navy, but on your paint color palette list it says it is 'Behr Navajo White' which I'm assuming is just a typo...unless I'm just overlooking something which is a total possibility! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHello! Yes, I had painted it a few months ago to Behr's Restless Sea and forgotten to update the post. Thank you for the reminder, I just fixed it. :)
Deletexoxo!
Hi Jen.. I am so glad to come across your blog when I was searching for organizing my tiny little home. The challenge of less space, more stuff and trying to get rid of unwanted and keep it organized all times is sometimes overwhelming. I am totally amazed at how you beautifully organized your home and yes 3 kids.. that definitely is fun and challenging.. :) Loved browsing through your blog and looking forward to implement some of your ideas here..! I love this one month cleaning challenge of yours.. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jen. I am a brazilian mother of 3 boys too, and I just came across your blog via bloglovin and I love it!!!

I found your blog from Shay at Mix and Match Family and the Nordstrom giveaway. I also live in Wisconsin (south of Madison) and was excited to see you are a fellow Wisconsinite :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to follow along. I love your style! We are in the process of buying a new house so I'm looking for some new ideas for our new house!
I just discovered your blog and I'm already inlove. I absolutely adore it. It's such a great inspiration. Keep going this way because you're doing a wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteCan I just say that your blog is my own personal oasis. With two kids, a husband and attending University full time in the UK (originally from Canada), I rarely get a moment to indulge in something I enjoy. I look forward every week to seeing what new ideas you have come up with. I don't feel ailenated kowing that there are others with a healthy obsession of labels(my husband teases me all the time).
ReplyDeleteBasically I just want to say a big Thank You for the inspiration and all the hard work you put into your blog, there are some days that it is my only source of sanity! :D
Thank you Sam! Sweet readers and comments like this are what keep me motivated and why I love what I do! So fun to connect with people who share similar passions and to know that someone is finding the ideas shared here inspirational and useful! Smooches!
DeleteCompletely second that, Sam! With two kiddos running around, working from home, and a husband with a CRAZY work schedule, taking a few minutes a day to check out this website keeps me sane! It's happy, colorful, and well organized so it's easy to read and find previous posts from the archives for sources of inspiration. Thanks for all you do, Jen!
DeleteThere is something magical about your blog that has me hooked! I've been a regular visitor for over 2 years and I love your writing, organizing tips and gallery. It has even rubbed off onto my older son, who organizes things himself now. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteJennifer, I'm a long-time reader of your incredible page. Your blog is wonderful, your organizing and decor tips are THE BEST, your home is drop-dead, to die over pretty (SO MUCH creativity!), your family is gorgeous, you personally are brilliant and model-level beautiful (I'm sure you hear all the time how much you resemble Scarlett Johansson?), there is so much perfection here I just want to swim in it!
ReplyDeleteI only have one criticism: your hair color. You have beautiful hair and the style is very soft and feminine, but it seems that your highlights have gotten away from you and are now into the "much too light for your complexion" level of blonde. As a hairdresser, I think toning down the highlights with some reverse weaving of a few shades of darker blonde color in the caramel/honey color family would be stunning on you. It would also be less maintenance than what you have now, and less damaging to your hair. Color as light as what you are wearing now is neither natural looking or very flattering, it's too noticeable as unnatural and does nothing for your beautiful face and eyes. Look at the natural color of your eyebrows (haircolor can be lighter than brows, but for a natural look, not substantially so) and your children's hair for inspiration, or take a look at these examples of color I think would be gorgeous on you:

You can tell me to take my unsolicited comment and shove it which would be perfectly fair, but please know that I have the best of intentions and do not mean to be mean or snotty! If I lived close to you, I'd do your hair at no charge just to show you how pretty these deeper tones would look on you.
Feel free to immediately delete this comment.
Just found your site. I am also a stay at home mom in WI ! Small world :-) love your work, you go girl!

Dear Jen,
ReplyDeleteHello! I have just started this year after 12 years of stand-by to try to organize my life hence my home. It's been a pretty roller coaster ride for me coming to a new country ( I am originally from Ecuador), learning a new language, raising a only child then waiting hopefully for a new one after 8 years to losing her just few days after she was born. Having a new blessing of having a new girl and the EXTRA blessing of having one more girl as a surprise send it by God. So, long story short, here I am with three kids IN A TOWNHOUSE!!!!, a husband with a crazy schedule (works nights and sleeps during the day), no help, no family, no basement and a pretty messy, cluttered but trying-to-change house. Can you help me with some questions?
1.- Where can I find pretty and nice Contact Paper or/and shelf liner paper. I went to Walmart, Bed bath and beyond, Home depot and they do not have anything nice.
2.- You say "make vinyl labels" where can I find the vinyl paper to make them?
3.- Do you thing your organization style will do with my house? I meant I have collectibles since I travel or my family travels. I collect plates, magnets, mirrors. Can you help me with this please? I do not wish throw away these things please :(
I hope you will be able to read my post and answer my questions. I really admire your lifestyle and personality.
Best,
Claudia.

DeleteDear Jen,
ReplyDeleteyour blog was suggested to me to follow on bloglovin when I signed up ages ago after creating my own nail blog.
I've been reading your posts ever since and love them! Today was the first time I opened your blog on a Desktop instead of just reading your posts via bloglovin and I fell in love with it and you even more! :)
I'm an organising freak too, and even if I can't get as much things done as I would like, due to my full time day job and long commute to work and back, you inspire me to get something done at the weekends, however little it may be!
Love your blog, keep up the amazing work you're doing, I will continue to devour your posts! ;)
Love,
Shanna
I'm loving your blog--you've awakened the cleaner in me! I'm using homemade shower cleaner (dish soap and vinegar) and it is good, but I am wondering if you have something with a bit more oomph?
ReplyDeleteFound you while clicking through the Good Housekeeping website. I love the way your organization efforts have been inspired and not limited by, your beautiful family. Will definitely be back to this site in the future for tips :)
ReplyDeleteFinding your site has just made me giddy - I'm signing up and have already printed out at least four download-ables!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!
I love your blog and I (used to) read it religiously, every day. Since I've moved and don't have internet it makes it harder, but I did link to you on my own blog. Please check it out if you'd like. :)

ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. I have always hesitated to decorate. Not wanting to have to live with some mistake. Or spend money I don't have. I am hoping to change that by seeing things I like n then having how to steps. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLove this!
ReplyDeleteThis is random, but where did you get that skirt in your bio photo? I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThank you JM! It was from JCrew Factory a year or two ago. But they always have great colored skirts so I would keep your eyes peeled there. :D
DeleteHey Miss Jen... I hope all is well. I have missed your blog. Did you move and me not know it?
ReplyDeleteHi Jen.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you? It's been two months since your last post and I am missing seeing new stuff from you :-( Hope all is well - but hurry back soon! I would love to see what you are planning for Christmas :-)
Jen...I hope everything is okay! I miss seeing your posts. I so relate to you with my three sons too :) I hope to see you back posting soon.
